stereotypical players of which class annoy you the most?

okay so i'm interested to find out whether there's a particular class that's most hated by players, maybe this survey has been done before but let's do it with fresh environment.

not trying to be toxic and hating on a class, but just seeing if any class annoys you, and maybe why? i'll go first

for me it's NL,
first of all it seems like they're very prideful of their high DPS and flash jump, they think they're superior
they're always showing off with their flash jump, getting to platforms fast and stuff
also they cry for SE, often refuse to boss without it - it's like they neeeeeeeeed it, I need HB to tank anego but that's different cuz i literally die without it
the NLs I ran into are also washed like crazy and can tank 9k hits like it's nothing
they also use flash jump to snipe-loot what they want at the end of bosses (like PE and reindeer milk)
they just have this vibe about them idk, that NL vibe
just very alpha

My personal opinion... Hero is a disappointing class over the years.

• 2016: Hero was a top tier class when Royals only three bosses were Zak, Krex, and HT. Also, HT had much more forgiving weapon cancel mechanics back there allowing multi target to shine.
• Jan 2017: HT broke in new source update which somewhat gutted Heros when people relied on Zak/Krex/Anego for exp.
• Jan 2018: HT was fixed sort of, but the new weapon cancel mechanic "fix" began the beginning for Hero's relevance to decrease. Crash made single target DPS heavily preferred in HT.
• Summer 2019: Neo Tokyo was added making Hero pretty useless due to many bosses dispelling ACA.
• At some time I forgot, CWKPQ was added and for some time, Hero was "OK" to trio or quad CWK. However, Hero's damage was not the limiting factor in these runs, and many people would take their Hero/DRK/Bucc mules and dual client attackers.
• People began farming Auf Helms. Note, it's kinda ridiculous a potential 87 all stat item was added to the game but that's besides the point. Hero was/is not viable in Auf. I don't think anybody has EVER attempted scrolling an Auf helm on a Hero because Heros are that out of the meta. Bucc completely overshadowed them as Melee bossers.
• LHC: People began farming some timed dungeon here that was great exp and decent mesos on the climb to get to 200.
• Von Leon created but Hero seems kinda meh there.

For many years, Hero has become basically like a cross between a real attacker and a mage. If you actually want to take the time to fund a real attacker, play Shadower, NL ,or Bucc. If you especially love DRK or Corsair, they can be decent but it's more of a class for people who enjoy the style/uniqueness.

I think it'd be nice if they made ACA not able to be dispelled if they haven't already. I haven't played in many years and probably won't play much again but that'd be nice IMO.

 

speaking as one of the oldest heroes on the server, I can agree with you on everything. ACÁ isn’t dispelled on dispel but our damage even with crazy funding (CGS 65) and perfect gear practically all around and the damage is still ass in most categories, heroes are arguably the worst class just to follow up on your post

It's kinda the class I guess but mostly how entitled people think they are when it comes to buffs

Anyone who makes YOU walk over to them just to buff them when they need it needs to shove it. Know your worth!!!

 

Just to mention it, ACA has been undispellable for about a year now, along with some other minor buffs, cant say how much better are heros in their own niche cs the little amount of ppl I know that use hero only spam brandish, and ofc from their POV, Hero is the same trash.

 

Just curious, other than spamming brandish, casting panic/coma before combo attack expires, dispelling def up, I'm not sure what other creative tricks there are, maybe you can let us know?

 

I wish I knew, who knows, maybe theres none and Hero is as plane and boring as ppl says. Wanted to make a hero for a while now to try it myself too, just didnt had the time(or now the motivation) to keep playing as active as b4. My point is that i dont really know ppl who cared enough to actually try and test if the buffs made any difference. I had a few friends who cared about hero a bit and shared with me some theorys, like how their skills interacted with buffs, the difference in terms of pin of brandish when the hit is a slash or stab, or how to use a skill to make the 1st Pin to auf haven(Idr if my friend mentioned it was panic tbh), but all of this was years ago, these ppl are either not playing anymore, or dropped their heros a while ago. But I dont even expect any super creative new way of use them, If you look around theres ppl theory crafting about everything, "If you use this skill along with this other, instead of doing this with this, your dmg will be increased by 3.456546%", check bm or NT guide, ppl still finding ways to use the puppet on their favor. I havent seen or heard things like that for heros in years now. Probably all the minor buffs they received were close to nothing, and thats probably the case but, I would love if someone explain why, adn exactly how little these changes were.

-Does panic buff made the skill any better?
-Does the increse in orb recovery chance, increase their dps? by how much?
-Is shout still worthless after the action range buff?, It doesnt help clearing the mobs at Zak, CWKPQ, or even more important, doesnt help at VL little golems who like to spread fast asf?
-How much better, or how much more dmg can a hero deal at HT or auf now that ACA is undispellable compared to b4?( Yes I know Hero is trash at auf haven, but how much less trash is it after that?)

All ive seen is "Hero is still trash", and never a "This change increased their dps/utility/etc by x%, wich is a bit too low considering their position in the current meta, I think they need a bigger buff".

 

Used to be NL for me, when I was a shadower main back in 2018/2019. Unironically, I dislike shadower mains now. Why? Because shads would get so much hate back in the day for being weak. Since they buffed assassinate range, everyone loves and main shad now. In my book, they're nothing else than disguised nl lovers and fake shad mains

NL Has always screamed "I'm a useless TemuTemuTemuTemu so i'll leech off every other benefit another player brings in exchange of a speed buff that doesn't benefit anyone on a boss" The class genuinely just annoys me because of how overly used the are in Pservers and Official servers, People always using them just because of dps and "looks" when there has always been far better, fun classes that get slept on.

 

I used to kinda dislike NL some years ago but later I tried the class myself and it was pretty fun
NLs used to have a greater amount of toxic players than others, like RWTers, elitist players who are obsessed with range, people who look down on other classes etc.
But it was some years ago (like 2018) when NL was by far the best class so I don't know how it is now

 

its always the NL that notices your apple has been gone for 10 seconds and get pissed about the run being 20 sec off optimal time
