Hello Royalers! Sometimes, I like to spend my free time being creative. Instead of playing games. Recreating sprites with Beads has always been a favourite, and Maple sprites are perfect for this. Spoiler Spoiler As per request of Christine and Egonics, the GM hat and hog mount. The hog turned out a bit to dark, but I think it is plausible. Sorry Egonics, but full characters turn out pretty big, I'd need a lot of time for a project that big. If I ever decide to try a full character, it will be my own first. Inventory sprites are the best, the items in my picture are as well. So the hog is a nice request. I work with mostly primary colours, so I don't have a ton of brown shades. So it won't be an exact copy. Expect the hog to be up tomorrow! Thanks for the positive feedback. ^^

The GM hat is schweet, should have thought of that one myself. I'll make it together with the hog, once I am done I will add them to the original post. Should be an hour or 2/3 from now. ^_^ Edit, the requests have been finished.
I remember doing these as a kid, using a clothing iron to melt the beads. Had the method changed at all? Any starter kits you recommend?
Nope, the method never changed. I still use an iron to this day. I've seen some other beads on the internet that connect to each other using water, but I like the ironing part.:3 I use Hama beads, in the past I have tried some from other brands. Did not work out as well, harder to iron etc. They sell these containers with primary colours, about 15.000 beads. Should be around 10-15$. They also sell bags of 1.000 beads with different shades, sparkling or even transparent colours. Enough choice to spice your projects up! Get one of those containers, an iron, a grid to place your beads on (I recommend 32x32), some parchment paper and you're all set!
