    Hello Mapleroyals,

I was wondering if the Mac download link on the main page was safe? When I try to download it, it says that there was malicious activity detected in the past 30 days or so... and that certain programs were installed without the users' consent?

    Just curious

This error also happens with direct D/L (PC) link with Chrome. Maybe the Royals staff should look into it since a global infection error by Google is not the nicest thing for people and a lot of people may refuse to download or even go further to that page due to it.

I know it already gave the "this file may be infected" after the D/L but for the whole page to be censored is much worse.

You can get a similar warning through Firefox if you allow the option to "Block reported attack sites". Basically, all of these browsers are communicating with Google and borrowing security information from their database. Somehow, MapleRoyals has found its way onto a Google blacklist.

You know what the silliest thing about this sort of error is? It's that if the exact same files were posted on a known site like MediaFire, you wouldn't get the error! I discovered this when Firefox changed their security settings a while back. What it boils down to is: we're offering executable files for download but we're not a "known" safe site. It might be something to do with a lack of digital signature, but I'm not 100% sure on that...

    Hey all,

I'm sorry to be bumping an old thread, but recently I went to the download page again and the amount of "viruses" or w.e that google found is fairly big o_O; 211 viruses?

Probably an error in the way it scanned the files I'm guessing.
