Uhm... new godly items system?

So today, I saw that there's Red Cravens on the FM with 56 ATT or 12 LUK clean, which is 1 higher than the supposed maximum. First of all, can a staff member confirm that this has been changed (godly items system adding up to 5 instead of 4)? Second of all, if this is true and not a bug, I just wanted to say it's kind of depressing for anyone with perfect items. I've talked to 3 people with perfect items so far, they're all pissed, just like myself lol.

Just wanted to put this out there. I don't expect it to be changed if it's not a bug, though... 't is what it is (although change or compensation would be nice).

Time to hunt a 56 ATT Craven. ;_;

Perhaps I'm insane but I remember the godly system always being +5. I could be wrong, since I'm insane.

 

The godly system has always been supposed to give +5 according to Matt's post explaining it, hut this the first time any weapon with +5 atk has surfaced with screenshot proof since the server has been running. Given the amount of time people have been grinding at various locations that drop level 100 weapons, i hope you see how unlikely this is if nothing has recently been changed.

 

Ah, I see. I have nothing to add then, since I have no knowledge of whether anything has been changed. Someone more knowledgeable will need to put their input in.

Two +5 weapons have turned up in 1 day (when 0 turned up in 2 years).

Now that it's working as advertisement, I doubt we'll ever see it getting fixed now. Waiting for a 60 Attack Purple Dragon Sleeve now.

 

yeah, i guess 0 fucks given to the 10b and hours i've wasted trying to perfect this 83atk knuckle ._. , now i'm going to have to quit it half way through to farm a 84.

On another note: seems pretty unfair to the existing community that didn't have the chance to get a +5 in that the 1 1/2 years the post wipe server has been live.

 

Maybe a petition for it to revert back to +4 max Godly System? @Matt

Yeah, so, I had another similar question - I gached an Eviscerator (120 Pole Arm) with 110 Attack. BBB Hidden Street might be out of date, but it says the supposed range is 102-104, and yet I have a clean one with 110 (+6) attack. Would attach a pic, but server is broken.

 

Just one thing. 56 att would actually be 6+ from regular perfect on a Craven. Since a 46 attack has been the normal average attack and 50 attack is normal perfect attack I'm guessing it used to count 9+ from average attack. That'd why you didn't see weapons go up to 5+ above perfect except claws which perfect attacks doesn't go more than 4+ above average. Hope that made sense.

 

Most, if not all, end game weapons have a range of 5 before dipping into the godly system. This is the case for numbers as low as 46 (Red Cravens) to as high as 145 (Elemental Wands).

 

I think cravens are 46 attack clean. So 51 (+5 from average) is max for without the godly system.
and it used to always be +55 (+4 with godly)
and now 56 (+5 with godly) is available, but under this assumption, you have to assume that bbb.hiddenstreet is wrong because it says 50 attack is the maximum.

And therefore for the past 2 years the maximum has been +9 from average on most equipment, (+5 from average - maple implemented) (+4 from godly - royals implemented).

But now, (TODAY) +5 from godly has been popping up (like it was supposed to, but never has happened - making it unfair). So now the max is +10 from average.

 

No, Claws is an exception to this rule. I'm fairly sure from my years of mapling that Craven did never go past 50 attack clean (aside from gacha and maker).

 

Maybe it might have changed later, but there's overwhelming proof that this isn't the case in MapleRoyals.
