Preamble rambling: it hurts my soul directly whenever I see a new player to the server, decides to IMMEDIATELY BUILD AN NL and IMMEDIATELY DECIDE TO HP WASH I am a strong supporter to the idea of doing HP quests and all the new alternate way to gain HP and even on GTop, the royals is labelled as HP washing optional like why are players still making threads like "is it too late for me to wash????????" or "should i make a new character? i started with a assassin who is now level ____ and i did not add much int till level 40, is it too late for me to wash when i become an NL" and even worse, when they actually go full ham on the int pumping from the beginning and ask, whine and beg for free leech when they do not have the means to train themselves or buy leech this is also adding to the leechstory experience which is getting a little out of hand (at least in my opinion, others might find otherwise) The meat of the feedback: could we add a limit, say ~100 int for non mages, until they clear a new quest with a title like "intelligence? or a scholars folly?", as some low level ~level 20-30 quest then the quest entails a questionnaire similar to the one at maple island for the "well behaved child" medal where the player is informed about the current alternate HP gaining methods then they are given a small task where they go around smacking down some mobs like octopus, blue mushrooms and zombie mushrooms for quest drops/ kill count as a tutorial for the "Search for the elixir of life" quests as a reward, they can get one of the HP quests chaos elixir for 20 HP only after clearing these, then the player is allowed to add int above 100 limitations to existing characters for characters made before, lets say someone has a level 58 assassin with 230 int, the quest limits any more int to be added, so the button is greyed out if their int is above 100 while the quest is not done, but they are free to reset int as much as they like using APR what I hope this would achieve 1. drill in the existence of the HP quests to players 2. make new players really look at the custom offerings of royals, play the game, and not go for the hyper meta of "start with a bishop, sell leech and self leech/buy leech for your new NL and wash" 3. make new players realise that the HP quests, as stated in the community thread https://royals.ms/forum/threads/com...ir-of-life-reuel-hp-quest-guide-lv120.178648/, that the HP quests are valued at around 100m/hr which is fairly decent for a fresh player 4. break the chain of worry "do i have enough int for _______" 5. give me a break from seeing all this pain ._.

We don’t wanna limit people on how to built their character. MapleRoyals has many HP washing alternatives nowadays. Adding base int isn’t the only way to reach high HP values anymore. We rather focus on advertising the alternatives more here and in game. To name some: - buffed HP via Job advancements - An Adventurers Assignment questline for up to 3.000 HP total - Spring from the Water of Youth questline for 250~1.000 HP total depending on your class - 30 different and repeatable Search for Elixir of Life quests f0r 35 HP on average per completion - buffed Dojo belt for up to 500 HP on the Black Belt - Legendary Collector Medal for 1.000 HP Thanks for your feedback!
Thanks for taking the time to read my ramblings i understand there should be a focus in adding alternative HP sources, but this thread is more for breaking the HP washing concept from new people coming into the server, and serve as a reminder (retargeting advertisement) that alternate HP sources exist, and we can just play the game to reach goals the task is supposed to be easy and one off to make it not restrictive nor too powerful for progression
