Error code 11001 no such host is known? Any solutions? Ive tried almost everything. Is it because im not on windows 8.1
What do you mean i downloaded the mapleroyals setup and the windows client then ran the setup and used the maple royals thingy in the folder. At first i got the graphics error then i fixed it and now i have the no host error. Its running in compatibility mode for windows 98/me
I have exactly the same problem. First I had the grapics error, then fixed it and now I have the host error. Changed the running settings (compatibility mode windows 98/me etc, restarted my computer a few times). Im a windows 10 user. Would be great if anyone has a solution for this problem.
Unless you already tried it can you go into the control panel uninstall mapleroyals then delete the folder and download and reinstall it. Also try disable any firewall/antivirus programs.
I guess thats the only option left. I already disabled my firewall and antivirus, I really don't get it that it suddenly stopped working.. Thanks for your post.
Update: I reinstalled the game, but it is still not working! And yes, I disabled my antivirus / firewall and I changed the launch settings. Anyone has a solution?
Hi Andreas, Thanks for your reply. I removed the game again and downloaded the new version. Before installing I used ccleaner to clear cache and cookies. The problem unfortunately remains... It seems like there is a real big issue with windows 10 compatibility.
People with windows 10 are playing without any problems, this a problem on your side I would say most likely your computer. Were you able to play before this happened? Did you do anything when it started, installed a new program, windows updates.. Have you tried with a different network like connecting to your phone using Hotspot, as I don't know if this could be a network error I would try.
Hi Andreas, I were able to play before this happened. I installed a wireless dual band USB adapter (Archer T2U AC600) to improve my wifi range. I think thats the problem in this case! If I deinstall it, my connection will be very bad and I will DC every time, so that is not an option. Any idea on how to fix this? You are genius so far .
It happened to me too when I just installed Mapleroyals yesterday. I'm not too sure exactly what was the problem cause I did a bunch of things all at once and it worked. What I did was: Uninstalled then reinstalled the whole thing. Harddrive: Installed in my Mapleroyals folder into my local C drive. Anti-virus: Add the whole Mapleroyals folder into the exceptions list. (I'm using AVG) Compatibility: Went to mapleroyals.exe > properties > compatibility > check "run this program in compatibility mode for (Windows 98/Windows ME) And it worked after that
I got same issue error code 11001 I was able to play, the last time i loged on is about 2 months. Today got that code so i delete game and folder then reinstalled but issue still there. any solution?
Just now when launching i got a different error from the new source, Error -2147 (parameter incorrect error) so I changed my compatibility to mapleroyals.exe > properties > compatibility > check "run this program in compatibility mode for (Windows 7)" > check "reduced color mode > 8-bit (256) color" > check "run this program as administrator" Try that. But if it still doesn't work you could try uninstalling and then reinstalling Mapleroyals, then do the Anti-virus and Compatibility(following the new compatibility steps i listed above) steps again. However I have a feeling that the cause of the Error 11001 was because of my Anti-virus, so take note of your Anti-virus and Firewall.
