After considering the possible solutions a bit further regarding the AFKers in Anniversary Cake Boss,
It was concluded that the least toxic, least exploitable, most community friendly solutions to the AFKers issue would be to reset the Hit counter when users get marked as AFK.
    Why reset counter?
    1) Nobody is giving you a cake piece unless you take an active part in the community event, or pay each contributing individual for the leech.
    2) Does not matter if you are a CEO of a company, a busy Scientist or a home-sitter, the resource of time is equal! Your time = Our time!
    3) Forcing others to perform an unpaid job for you while you rub your :nut:s is toxic as FK.

Previous suggestion can be found HERE.

Edit 1: No hit counts and time since last hit data should be presented live.
Announcing 3 top hitters at the end of the run in the local map chat is a nice bonus.

    The core issues are:

    1) There is zero incentive to hit the cake more than necessary.

    2) In later channels, cake can take 20mins+ especially midway into the event after everyone has gotten the coin items they wanted. I mean even if you get AFKers in channels 1-7 the impact is minimal, so you're probably talking about later channels.

    3) Cake does tons of damage to low DEF characters so these people would rather hide on top than waste potions.

Working on 1) is probably the better approach. There's also no reason for 3) to be a thing, really.
