Hey Everyone, My name is LudusMaximus, I am a Ludus Lake locked Spearman! Once hitting level 30 and completing my job advancement the character is immediately moved to Ludibrium. I also can only bring 1 weapon with me so I can start grinding. However I am not allow any other items/potions/usable items or mesos! I must farm all other EQ and mesos purely from scratch on arrival. The weapon I chose to bring with me on the start of my journey is a my trusty Fish Spear! Ludus Lake locked means, I can only access maps that fall within or can be reached by access from Ludibrium, I cannot access any other towns if my main exit point is not from Ludibrium. An example is that I can access Korean Folk town because I can access it directly from the Ludibrium elevator, however I cannot continue on to Aqua road through the well, because Ludibrium is not my exit point! The only exception to this clause is moving to other continents to complete 3rd/4th job advancements. These maps include: Ludibrium Omega Sector Korean Folk Town Mushroom Shrine (No Showa Town, No bloody Sky Skis for me! I HATE THE META!!!) Ellin Forest Why in the heck would I do this to my self you ask? Well I enjoy a more simplified form of gameplay, hate being stuck in the rat race of who can be the best Meta gamer... I just want to lay back and enjoy the experience. Also I am not sure if this has ever been done before and I really enjoy everything that Ludus Lake has to offer! An extra restriction I will be imposing on my self is that I cannot trade with any other players. Any equipment that I need to acquire must be farmed solo. Basically Ironman style. I am allowing myself to join up and PQ with other players, PQing is such a great part of the gameplay and I do not want to miss out on the chance to participate. However I cannot us this as my main way to level my character. Should I ever reach the point where I can challenge the mighty Papulatus, my very first attempt must be 100% solo. After only successfully soloing the boss, I can then challenge with other players. Why choose a Spearman to be my mighty adventurer? I just find that nothing else screams nostalgic old school Ludibrium gameplay more than a DK slaughtering deep clock tower mobs, as we all watched Tiger back in the day rise to fame! So come along with me on this crazy and probably stupid? Adventure. Also feel free to join me on my quest to conquer Ludus Lake! Cheers!
I don't know how active the community is but seems like you'd fit in well with the Lego Man Challenge group!
The spoils of war after a 25 minute session of stress and anxiety! The spot! Ughhh this might be a problem.... Relaxer = BFF Blood thirsty teddy bears.... First drops!
Got lucky with a few drops in the first kills back to stack those mesos up! The cash I got allowed me to get a ton more potions and some warrior pills for extra damage, now I can get in a proper training session! My very first maple weapon drop that will sell for some awesome mesos!
