    Hello All :)

    Character Name: Nomad4
Where are you having an issue(s): Home
Date and Time when issue(s) occurred (GMT): 07/29/2023, 01:00
Details of the issue: Please see below actual post
What error code were you given(if any): None
If it can be replicated, please provide a screenshot or recording of the issue occurring: Here

Sometimes I need to minimize the game client to check something on the forums/online etc.
There's about a 50% chance that when I try to maximize the game's window to continue playing - it goes into a black screen and I can't do ANYTHING - not open the task manager, not cmd, not minimizing all windows to desktop... Absolutely nothing helps.
The entire monitor is just stuck like that on a black screen and I always end up having to restart my PC using the physical button on the case...
I also tried messing with the game's settings in terms of windows/full screen etc. - to no avail.
my rig is i7-7700 and 1080 GTX.

    Any ideas?

Just to understand - this guide (or more accurately - the solution) is to refrain from using full screen (or even windowed full screen)...?
I have a 4k monitor, this will be a huge bummer even on 200% scale.

You can use the 3rd party resize app (linked thread)

As there isn't a known cause for triggering the full screen crashes (happens to certain PCs only), it's difficult to replicate the issue for the Devs to resolve the problem

    ResizeEnable works properly.
The only downside is that the top bar (where the windows' buttons are for minimizing etc.) and the taskbar at the bottom are still visible.
But that's definitely preferred than having my PC crash everytime....

    Thanks!! :)
