Per a post I made earlier today I believe that adding a built in Smega system for different PQ's would be a good idea to help get people into doing pq's without having to spend the mesos or NX on smegas. I feel most people who might do PQ's like LPQ/OPQ/MPQ are not people who have lots of money but rather people who are newer or have less funding for alts. I believe having a message that allows people to shout to the server without cutting into their early game funds. The main issue I could mainly see is people spamming the global message. A remedy to this is to either add a cooldown on how often you can send out the message or enforce the no spamming rule that already exists on this server. Side note: this system would not allow player to write the message themselves but to have an automated message with their username/ what PQ they're recruiting for/ and what channel they're on.
Hey awesome idea! How about having poster signs in each town of MapleWorld, like Perion, Kerning City, Orbis, El Nath, and all that? Players can post their party quests, like 'MaplePlayer1, level 35 hunter, looking for LPQ.' It'd be super cool and make finding party members easy.
Also maybe add on a "Keep an alert for selected PQ". Where the game gives you a notification when another user starts a PQ you have selected
I think the only issue with adding something like this would be message bloat for peoples' chat box. I think having the leaders name channel and what PQ theyre doing would be more than enough. It's similar to how people sell items. You're going to get a lot of whispers and you can either get a response or you won't.
Bumping thread for additional comments/suggestions. I'm doing this simply because I believe this will help with early players experiences. However I'm curious from the admin/implementation side if something like this is possible?
