Just going to keep this as simple as I can. I think the witch broomstick mount should be turned into tradeable coupons for a 90 day version, and a permanent version. Once the coupons would be used, you would receive the 2 items for the mount, which would be untradeable. This could create a new reward / jackpock item to be put into the market. Now I understand that this could potentially hurt RP sales due to the broomstick mount being so nice. My proposal to that, would be to take whatever the rate of Chaos Scrolls / White Scrolls are from gacha, and multiply it by 10x to aim for a market price around 5bill meso for a permanent broomstick mount. Keeping in mind, that whomever buys this coupon, and then uses it, will never be able to trade that mount again. I'd say a lot of people easily opt to buy RP chairs in the cash shop, compared to paying billions of mesos for a tradeable chair. Ultimately I think owning this mount in a permanent version would become a "flex" as well as something worthy of the cost, to the right people. Also keep in mind that the tradeable 90 day coupon would also gain its own value to people, which would most likely fluctuate throughout the year if people wanted to maintain the mount using 90 day coupons. You could even consider giving the 90 day coupons 5x more rare chances of obtaining thru Pierre, than someone would be to receive a WS / CS from gacha. Overall I think this would introduce an interesting new nx market, that would not harm the purchasing of RP. I have conceptually seen this type of system work previously. Would be interesting to see what people think. Edit: In order for this to work, you would have to remove the broomstick mount as a reward option for candies.
This is a pretty cool idea, but it should really be titled as an overhaul of the mount cover system in general, not specific to the broomstick mount. I like the idea of them being quite rare, and then the "coupons" could be given out for GM events also. But you'd have to work out logistics, like: - can the coupons only be exchanged for mounts that are in-season? Or would there be a separate coupon for each mount? - Is it really important for the item to be tradable before being turned in? (because I imagine permanent untradable NX is easier to implement)
