Within the past week I've been experiencing big fluxuations in my FPS. Whenever I run royals on my VM at the same time as my host machine, it constantly looks like it's going in slow motion then speeds up to try to catch up to where the animations should be. My computer isn't the newest/fastest but this started happening at random while it used to run fine so I'm wondering if there's any possible fix for this.

I had the same issue. Suddenly I was getting major FPS drops while running maple in VMware. Personally I just installed Windows XP on a 10 gb partition and use that whenever I want to boss. Runs a lot smoother.

Probably. you run windows XP straight from your pc instead of emulating it, so it runs a lot smoother. Personally I'm able to triple client in windows XP on my laptop with an i5 cpu with frame rate not dropping too much.

I was looking up guides on how dual boot and ended up finding this one:

    https://neosmart.net/wiki/easybcd/dual-boot/windows-xp/installing-second/

Is this what you did or did I look up the wrong thing? And if this is correct, is it also possible to install it without the physical xp installation disk?

That wasn't the guide I used, but it's pretty similar from the looks of it.

I used a program called Rufus (https://rufus.akeo.ie/) to create a bootable USB drive which can be used to install Windows XP from.

Also you might want to have some kind of installation media of whatever version of windows you are currently using. In my first attempt i ended up making my Windows 7 unable to boot up and therefore had to use the repair option on another USB stick with windows 7 installed.
