Oh hey! On my midlife crisis kick. I died a little realizing it's been nearly 19 years since I first logged in to MS, and 15 since I stopped playing and left for college. I can't say how long I'll be around or to what extent I plan on engaging here, but I figured why not say hey! I just made my first character but I haven't decided what I want to make with it (even with the increased rates, this is still a time commitment). Anyone here mind giving some insight on brand new players with no funding? Which classes are in demand/valuable? I don't plan to do anything dexless, or engaging much with meta really...
hello. welcome. i suggest voting and saving that up either to gach or sell it as aprs which cost 8-9m per 3.1k nx. make a bishop sell leech. any classes are in demand as long as you enjoy it. but everyone loves shads / bishops / nls / paladins.
I would recommend a Buccaneer (Pirate), Bishop (Mage), or any Warrior for a new player. I'll also suggest that you read about HP wash - because it matters in high-level bossing - https://royals.ms/forum/threads/hp-washing-calculator.111127/ Enjoy nostalgia
Thanks Valzer. I will definitely be voting. I understand washing is still very much a thing, but the thought of running a thief on INT or something for 120 levels isn't exactly how I want to engage with the game. I'll likely start to consider it for a new character once I'm comfortable on my main. See you around!
I'd recommend either a warrior (Paladin/DrK) or a Mage (Bishop) for starters. Bishop is the easiest one of them all since It doesn't need any hard washing, and the only time you need to start washing, is when you are already high in levels. Also - easy mesos from leeching. welcome to royals
