Whenever I alt tab or alt enter from full screen, the client will turn black and flash/flicker nonstop. It appears by the sound of the bgm that the game is still running, however I am unable to anything and am forced to alt f4. This started to happen since the patch prior to Halloween patch.
Same, it happens sometimes when alt + tab, sometimes when alt + enter, and it just happened when i accidentally pushed alt + esc in Rose Garden bonus stage map (bug net hotkey on ~` below esc). Very frustrating. This problem occurs sometimes since like 10 months ago. Patches haven't fixed this problem yet.
I've finally fixed the problem! I hope this works for others as well: 1. Open Taskmanager 2. Open MapleRoyals 3. Right click on MapleRoyals in Taskmanager 4. Click on "Efficiency mode" 5. No more black flashing! Keep in mind that you have to do this again every time you start MapleRoyals. If that doesn't work for you, you can try to do something like the opposite, that has probably worked for my brother (he only faced this problem twice, but after changing this setting he havent faced it again): 1. Go to graphics menu in settings 2. Search for MapleRoyals on the list 3. Click on options 4. Click on "High perfomance" 5. Hopefully no more black flashing! I hope one of these works for others too!
Twisla, tried your methods but the problem still persists. Thanks though I will pay mesos or NX to anyone that can fix this. (Has to work, of course) If any admin can fix this, I will buy 100 RP straight up, no jokes. This problem is a pain in the ass.
Since last update this fix doesn't work anymore. Having this black flashing client again, even with Efficiency mode.
I had this problem since I started royals but I went from wz to img this last patch and it fixed it for me.
Nope, it's unresolvable and will most likely never be fixed. Only way I could ever see it resolved is if enough people incur this problem
