The Priest in your party was botting, every party member of someone that's botting receives the same punishment as they do so you will remain banned for 7 days as well.

How was I supposed to know somebody was botting? He spoke to us about every 5-10 minutes and I assumed he was holding down a key before he had to leave since he said he had to go soon?

    1. Partying with someone who is breaking any form of rule to gain a competitive advantage makes you guilty by association. (When found in this situation, leave the party, leave the map, and report the situation in-game or via the forums. Be very cautious about this!) Punishment: The same punishment as the original offender
I apologize, but it is in the rules.

I've never seen a botter before and I've seen multiple HSmules doing the same exact thing. The guy was interacting and speaking to us. I don't know how you guys determined he was botting, but I honestly didn't think he was. When we died he would open portals, he told the other player we didn't need 2 priests in a group. He said grats to somebody when they leveled. Holding down a key is pretty normal for mages and I thought he was watching netflix on a second monitor or something while holding down the HS button. He said he had to go soon but he could still HS, somebody asked him to stay a bit longer and he did. There is no reasonable way for anybody in our party to determine he was botting. People multiclient HS priests the same exact way he was playing.

Holding down a key is botting, though. If you are caught holding down a key and unable to respond to a GM you will be banned for botting.

You must always be able to respond to a GM when they message you.

You say people multiclient that way, but if they are than they are breaking the rules and they just haven't been caught yet.

EDIT: Here's our rule on botting, in case you have not seen it.

    1. Engage in robot play (i.e., "botting") or any other behavior that allows you (or any character you are controlling) to automatically function or effect any action in a game with or without your presence; Punishment: 1st offence - 7 day ban, 2nd offence - permanent ban

So I get that you guys whispered him and he didn't respond, cool I guess that explains the whole ordeal. I'm just going to stop trying to fight the ban and in the future try my best to conform to the rules of partying with botters. You guys have a great server with a good community, and this is probably due to the strict rules that you guys place. I appreciate the first ban not being permanent and will try my best in the future to determine if my party members are legit or GTFO.
