Just wanted to know if it's feasible. I know people asked for a sell all button but a sell item button would work too. Can hold Sell item button and NPC Chat(+ [Y] key) to NPC stuff instead of left clicking 100+ times while holding NPC Chat.

Can you elaborate on what you mean, because there already is a sell item button? Do you mean one that would sell a whole set of items in the USE or ETC tab like 200 scrolls or mob etc without asking for the amount you want so sell?

Unfortunately, this may be soft-rejected here, so you can close this thread. But I'll explain so you can understand.

I meant creating a key button where you can press that button in a Shop window to open the Sell Item prompt. Let's say you could press "-" to initiate the Sell Item prompt. Instead of holding Y (NPC Chat) + Mouse clicking 100+ times on Sell Item to clear inventory you would instead just hold Y (NPC Chat) + "-" to sell items. It would be not as detrimental as a NPC All button but a nice QoL for players overall.

The drawback to this suggestion in that it'll require a UI edit, which is something that might be too much effort on Yeehaw's part (i.e. White Scroll prompt broke the game) and require heavy QA. This would work well in a rebuilt client/server but probably not feasible in an old source client.

People can technically already get around this by either using a programmable mouse or using software to simulate auto clicks on a key.

Thanks for explaining further. As you expected the same reasons from the sell-all-thread apply here. Moved to closed.
