This is nostalgic as ever and I love it. This can be a great idea in an event scenario; it's unique, it's rooted straight from old maple, and it's sure something new. Definitely event content I'd look forward to, anyway. I wonder how difficult it would be to put something together, as it's pretty general/open ended at this point. Regardless, I like the idea!
So I read about it a bit and it's honestly one of the coolest things I've ever seen in maple. However, as a private server, the recources are limited, so keep in mind that something like this will probably take a while, if it can be done. But hopes up, I would love, love to see this!!
Showing this to people in case anyone don't know if the White Lady of Perion could or couldn't be added into private server.
I would definitely be in favour of us adding the White Lady of Perion into the game as part of a seasonal event sometime. =) Obviously, we'd need to do things very differently from the private server in the video above. Also, this and any other major events will most likely need to wait until after we have moved over to the new source.
I could provide stats info regrading the White Lady of Perion if it does come into effect and also about the new source, as in your gonna use files from later version of Maplestory?
By "the new source", I mean the source that our developer Kevin has written from the ground up - not going to reveal what will/won't be in it yet, but I can confirm that we will be remaining a nostalgia server and that the new source should be a lot more stable than the current one. As for the White Lady of Perion - no, if we create an event with her as part of it, we'll create her from scratch here. We might choose to make her as an NPC, who knows? This is a discussion the staff can have when the time is right.
Perhaps I could be in charge in the artwork and lore that if the White Lady of Perion idea is happening.
If we need artwork, we can reach out to the entire community. As for the story, I think that's up for us as staff to do if we decide to implement it in the server.
