Heya! I tried making an attacker, but i just love the play style of mage so much. But i don't realy see what to do to have a fun time leveling till Lv200. Any great advice or tips from you are welcome. Since people take a look at this game in many diff ways! Never to old to learn new things. Big thanks <3
Welcome to the mage-main club! As IL mage you can easily go ToT or LHC. If you have maxed CL and a ele wand 8. Chao daily should be doable as well. 160-170 is a bit rough, however from 170+ you unlock RG and IL mage is arguably the best class to do that content. If you're bored. Get the Quest Medal, its really good for mages and is something fun to work towards.
So there is more then just spamming blizzard in ULU 2. cause that is what i did till now I never did realy any of this content before, but never saw asking people for a Mage. So thanks for your reply!
Skele's remain top3 best exp and top3 best meso to farm. So I generally prefer to go skele if I feel like grinding. Allthough at ToT, mages can safespot Lyka with ulti and its weak to ice. Mages are the best for lhc by a mile. Its not even close. Also a good mage will do 99% of grouping all mobs on top and bot so the warri and bucc in the party will lose out very little damage on grouping the mobs. However, the totems dropped by lhc mobs are considered event items and have their drop chance significantly reduced when a mage ulti has dealt either 50% or 80% (forgot) damage to a mob. So if your party is very weak compared to mage it will suck.
It used to be 50% ult damage for 50% drop rate reduction. It then got changed to 80% ult damage for 50% drop rate reduction to not entirely exclude mage mains from LHC. There's still somewhat a stigma against mages by people who don't quite understand it, but even 2 mages should be fine if your party is rotating properly. Just be prepared to be rejected sometimes by people who think mages will reduce their totem rates.
