Looks like the south of England is due for the worst storm since the gales of 1987 (the year Sevenoaks turned into "OneOak") and whilst I imagine London won't be as badly hit as more exposed areas on the south coast, it's probably wise to heed the warnings. I've just tied the lightweight garden chairs to the heavy stone-and-metal table and anchored the bin to the greenhouse, lol! I kinda wish my Dad wasn't due to travel here tomorrow though. His plane is scheduled to take off in gale force winds and land in Gatwick at around the time the storm hits southern England. >_<
Update: No obvious local storm damage yet, and we still have power, but the winds are a tad ferocious out there! Cats are a bit disgruntled because we kept them in to make sure they stayed safe!
