Blacklist for IGN: Windya

Reason: Stole one apple from pos 2 at pos 1.

Apple came from my box and dropped on pos 1 platform. I did not intentionally go there and pick it up as it saves time. I hesitated if I should take a screenshot, but I did not and choose to trust. Most of time, I think it worked for me, but APQ is really the place tests people. Not trusting actually could save a lot of problems like this. He is also really pro at APQ, so I think it's not likely he overlooked. By adamantly saying both apple came out from his box (he did), he must be really sure. Again it's quite obvious if an apple was on the floor already vs it just dropped from the box.

After he denied taking my apple, I didn't hold anyone there and continue run as normal, which I think is the right thing to do. In the end, it's just one apple and not worth wasting any others' time. Sorry I lied at the end that I have screenshot, hoping to take my apple back with that.

3. DETAILS: I wasn't the one they DM'd originally so I don't have proof of agreement, but I think the screenshots are pretty clear. He logged in after a bit, and told me he paid another party member (UncleJefe), but when I tried to confirm it with that party member, they said they weren't paid. The blacklist is for (a) not paying and (b) lying about paying.

Honestly, there are many things I feel are unfair. Even if I didn't play well and made frequent mistakes, he doesn't have the right to talk to me like this.

1. He intentionally looted my NX and didn't offer a proper apology or compensation few weeks ago. Of course, he might argue that he looted it because I didn't, but he wrote my name as 'manny' instead of 'mandi', which confused me into thinking that NX belonged to someone else.
(I was going to let it slide because I appreciated him running the party, but I had to bring it up because of what happened this time)

2. Recently, in an 18-man VL run, he publicly humiliated me by saying that I caused the worst run ever because I didn't play Bishop well, and he even sent me such a message personally. I feel very unfairly treated regarding my play. Although it was clearly my mistake to die at the end, I had to res six people at once, and there were so many deaths that it was impossible to clear. How can all the blame be placed on me?




even though I successfully fulfilled my duties as a bishop in the last week's previous run, and despite listing other characters when signing up, he still chose me as a bishop and reacted like that. Is he just trying to blame me?

Why can't you just let one unsuccessful boss run slide and wait for the next run? A failed VL run is not gonna kill you or something smh

I have been called out the same way while raiding in another game. I felt so ashamed and demotivated, and that made me quit the game eventually. I was doing my best without any intention to ruin everyone's run, and when I got called out like that getting blamed on everything, it just broke my heart.

Everyone has their first time in particular bosses, and everyone has their bad days that may cause some issues irl.
Maybe @veen11 might have had issues understanding English (Royals player base is surprisingly global) because he is not a native speaker.
He might have forced himself to the raid because he did not want to ruin the run by not showing up when he was actually outside his home for some urgent matter.

@final1094 , please talk it out gently before throwing tantrums and commenting shit on someone's face.
A failed boss run does not grant you a right to harass someone like that.

 

First off no one publicly humiliated you at all. I simply said in voice chat that this was the worst run I've ever been on before leaving VC that was it. You made a post in the sign up thread after the run to explain all the things you did wrong then try to call me out because of your own short comings. Instead of responding to your post I DMed you instead to keep it porivate and yea maybe I was too harsh and I do apologize there but quit acting like you're the victim because this was all in DMs. You are the one posting in the public blacklist, You are the one airing dirty laundry, so lets air dirty laundry.

Before the run started you had a lot of background noise from your mic and several people asked you to please mute your mic which you ignored. At B1 you messed up res/TL order by missing TL then continuously kept not using HSH and attacking the wrong side. We had to keep telling you to HSH and to attack the correct side which you still never did. During b3 again you were told many times to HSH and you didn't which resulted in party 3 getting stunned, lasered, then killed. While trying to get the res off you were unresponsive the ENTIRE time. When your turn was up we wasted too much time trying to get you into the party to get everyone ressed because you would not listen and leave party. We had to use TL on the other 2 bishops to use their res for the dead people then you die. We exhaust our res again and now your up and then you die. All i simply said after the run was "this was the worst run i've ever been on" THATS IT. I logged off VC and that was it. You were never called out publicly, you called me out and at least I DMed you. I have lead several runs in this server and I try to be as pleasant to everyone as possible but I will not sit by while you try to call me a scammer or try to play victim after causing my run to fail and making 16 people waste their time and meso. Quit acting like a victim and actually try to improve yourself. You have been on some of my runs in the past and I have had issues with you then. You accused me of stealing your 5k nx card when we repeated SEVERAL times in the VC during that run to come and loot your card. Sorry if i spelled your name 1 letter off but with 10 seconds left I looted it because it was going to disappear but that is far from scamming. All you want to do is drag someone through the dirt because you did a horrendous job playing a boss.

We have been running for months and ask anyone, no one has issues. I run a clean and fair server and we have lots of people, regulars and new comers that join us each week. Everyone has always been welcome and week after week we run good, successful runs. You paint a picture like I'm some monster but ask any of the other 150 people in the server if they have ever had an issue? Seems to be just you.

Your patience is insane, I personally would not take that during a full on VL run (which is probably an hour or so I assume).

I took the time to watch 3rd body on that run to see what went down out of curiousity, here's the link:

I don't personally know you, and I do know Mandi from several runs, but what I wanna tell you is in all honestly not biased, and I don't say it out of hate, just genuine observation and advice as someone who has been in your exact position many times.
Take it if you will, feel free to ignore it if you want as well.

- There is no set protocol for Res/TL, you have dead members make res parties instead of bishops on a set rotation, which causes a lot of confusion, slow resses and the run spirals down as a result.
12 mans runs are much less structured in that sense, for bigger and more inclusive runs you need to have protocols for those situations, since people will lack the experience, and the more experienced bishops will have to take care of things.
- You clearly recruited too many inexperienced players to have a safe clear, which is perfectly fine of course - but you need to consider the risk in advance, and if failing is unacceptable you also need to draw the line in the recruiting stage.
- He was definitely making mistakes, and maybe an experienced bishop could get off that last res and holy shield on time, but as an organizer you need to expect that from a bishop on their 2nd run ever.
- What was said by you in this vod from 57:30 forward (for about 2 minutes), is honestly not a good look as a leader.

In short, as organizers we need to take responsibility for our failed runs.
I know the feeling of being mad at an individual, but you can't just lash out at them publicly like that, it's humiliating and demotivating.
And what's more important - it's a bad look to kick someone out of a group because they're bad in your opinion.
You can talk to them, try to help them improve, invite them to safer runs only, invite them on their more experienced chars, whatever really.
If you truly tried your best to help said person improve and approached them in a positive way and they don't show signs of improving, it would be ok imo to tell them nicely that you will have to leave them out of runs often.
The way you dealt with this just seems impulsive to me, and it's problematic that you double down and air dirty laundry.
Having those thoughts is fine, you can share them with your close circle or fellow organizers, but towards the group you need to show good leadership and just say something along the lines of "unlucky, it happens", even if you are boiling inside.

After a run like this ends you can make some conclusions and change things as you like, for example you can decide:
- Not to run inclusive runs anymore, and just run smaller parties for profits.
- Not to have open recruits and handpick your members.
- Limit the amount of new/inexperienced people.
etc.
These are all fine decisions.

In my honest opinion this sort of conflicts can be group enders, and for your own sake and other's it's better to just reflect on it and apologize.

Again, these are just my thoughts as a fellow organizer, I honestly was thinking if I should even reply because I really don't have a dog in this fight, and in this community its sometimes risky to speak on such matters, but I hope you can take it as positive feedback.

I’m currently on my VL server break as I enjoy the finest of what Japan has to offer but had to break my silence.

Honestly after watching Mandikana’s bishop I sat down with a highball and anime girl doll in my hands and wondered, are there any bishops worse I can recall. Yes there is, its Exculprism.

I am here to publicly shame @Ghostie.

• His pretty bad at hshing, probably watching TV while VLing
• He’s the type of guy to come late and when everyone is inside ask if anyone can help scroll
• He didn’t even know dispel worked on slow until maybe his 3-4th run. He wouldn’t use it even when his own bishop was slowed

I do have a dog in this fight. Exculprism is that dog.

 

This is hilarious but also ima speak up as someone who happened to be in both of these runs as a casual player

Vincent coming in here and crying “F4 me harassed me skemmed” is really far from what actually happened that its funny lol (Harley’s flame was vicious though )

The entire run was extremely patient all run for this obnoxious, non-responsive bishop. Sadly toxicity arose during a critical part during a 1Hour runs failure+ ending but until it was for sure doomed I thought everyone was more than accommodating for newer runners, as it always usually is.

@veen11 joined the 18-21man voice channels never saying or contributing anything yet had persistent sound/static feedback, voice breathing, and random family sounds and banging noises. Several ppl (including me) told him something along the lines of “dude with the dog photo stop” or “plz mute” at least 10 minutes before and 10 minutes into the run.

He would later ask after “why did ppl mute me” lol cmon

Mid-run he was really confusing to watch as a fellow bishop. It was to the point where I spoke up several times about the “solo attack bishop ” shooting angel ray on the wrong side and aggro-ing the boss while the rest of the run has been dealing with gargoyles on right side or just in another area with mobs like at throne

IMO claiming jail as an excuse for his bishop actions and typing paragraphs in the VL channel + posting here is just him deflecting and finding a way to ragebait the channel/server creator. The NX was a non issue too, it was gone anyways unless Harley looted it and we all waited and asked whos it was leading up to it
