Hii to all royalers, i would ask about warriors if they are needed in boss terms nowadays i was looking for post talking about them but i only get more questions and im a little confused. its a long time i dont play and i dont know if they are demanded on terms of bossing, i was looking a post about best classes and i all time looking the dark knight and heroes in very bad possition. -are hereos bad in terms of bossing nowadays? they dindt get any interested buff? -What about paladin? i looks they are in a good positions all times compared on Drk or Hereos. -its looks like Bucc are the new warriors in this server, good hp, have SI for the party, etc Thanks all for ur time and i would use this post for debating about warriors in terms of a good job nowadays in this server
pali is good for bossing because they have total crash. so they are wanted in zakum / ht. hero / drk are pretty much the same. They are very good for multi target DPS which makes them wanted in LHC and von leon (very late game) and acceptable on other bosses even though not the best.
I used to main a hero, and tbh theres nothing much to do with it other than LHC/ cwk / zak /scarga (idk about VL, never done) but hero sucks at NT, ht, and pretty much all the fun content in my opinion. When i am running bosses here and there, there are barely any warriors and it feels like they are not really "wanted" (other than pally cause of their CR)
Hello, I have a level 200 Hero and a level 200 Paladin. I would start both again and play them very often now. Paladin is better on a single target, Hero is better on multi-targets. I also have a level 163 Nightlord, and I think he's worse than my two warriors because he's not good at many monsters (Temple of Time and others). Warriors are very good for Rose Garden. Paladin is wanted for many bosses, Hero can level well on his own.
thanks all for ur opions and information, i was looking about that like Warriors nowadays are Paladin and Bucc (ik its a pirate class) but hits like hero or drk and them have de SI so i look like Drk and Hero are displaced form this 2 jobs and noone looks now for a hero or drk
Warriors (Drk/Hero specifically) likely need some adjustment in order to be considered viable for most end-game bosses. Buccaneers have far more versatility, with important party buffs (SI, TL), good single and multiple target as well as ranged damage options. What Drk/Heroes do excel at (DPS when attacking exactly 3 targets, easier to fund initially due to not needing to wash) simply isn't enough for compensate for their overall lack of utility. HB is sometimes helpful and needed yes, but the majority of higher level players hp wash/quest enough to not require it anyways. And Dark Knights have their own survivability with Berserk to worry about as well as increased pot costs, so there's that. You might call it a 'high risk, no reward' class, but that might be an overstatement. I still find it more fun than spamming mage ultimates though. As far as potential changes are concerned, I feel like Crusher and Brandish could use a boost in DPS when attacking single targets, as well as a properly scaled version of Berserk making Drk a true high risk/high reward class, as opposed to having only slightly better DPS compared to other warriors. Oh, and Power Stance being only a 90% success rate to prevent knock-back is also somewhat annoying and probably too low. Why not simply make it 100%? That wouldn't be too OP, as you're still taking damage from the enemy (unlike theives' avoidability/Shadow Shifter which also negates damage). Either that, or have Stance scale according to the level of the enemy (it doesn't make sense for a 4th job warrior to be knocked back by a green snail. But Horntail and Von Leon occasionally, sure.) But yeah, we're definitely overshadowed by Buccs these days.
