Hey! I just started the game. I'm lvl 16 mage becoming a cleric. I didn't want to go with any special builds so I just went with normal luck build. Maybe later I will try to fund a Dexless sin - that's what I had when I used to play the game. What should I expect from MapleRoyals? Any casual tips for beginners? Any luk on mages pretty much useless in this server since stats on clothes are pretty good even on low level items. And the wand you ultimately use doesnt require any luk. other than that you should be voting everyday once as a person. Link: Royals.ms/vote
Fortunately I'm not here to min/max and just wanted to get a somewhat nostalgic feeling with high level equipments. I even screwed up some skill points from the "ultimate" skill build and thats ok Btw, where can I find more info about equipment differences? And thanks for the tip!
I would really advise to remake your charecter and make the mage lukless. it is really a useless stat and you would regret it later
thanks for the insight. For me it is more nostalgic to just enjoy the og gameplay with the feeling of achievement to gear up new equips Example: im now lvl 23 and I have like 300hp. Monsters hit me like 50 even with lvl 20 gear. And I don't feel like hp washing. It really takes away what I'm seeking for.
i'm not saying you have to hp wash or try to maximize your gear at any given point. but having luk doesn't really give you anything but the ability to wear some useless equips. I dont know what your plans are for the future but you wouldn't really be able to do much unless you go lukless. 1 hitting ulu2 / skele would be out of the question
I'm quite sure I will never reach those levels. Highest level I ever was pre bigbang was something between level 70-80. Now I don't have as much free time so I bet I will just enjoy 2nd job advancements with cleric / and maybe with assassin
You should also buy AP Resets from the cash shop and sell them to people for 10-11 mil each! That's some good easy money you can make as a new player
royals is very different. First, its 3.2x exp. Second, gear that was impossible for level 200s to get in gms without spending 500$ a month is pretty easy in royals because of rates and voating for nx
I admire the optimism that I would advance to such high levels. Like it's expected Realistically speaking I propably get stuck at level 50 until I start another job with some kind of funding
