NX Item buff Cash Shop [feedback and support input]

    i'm just making this to provide feedback for a few things in CS:

    these issues hurt sales
    • lots of graphical errors, misalignments, overlapping/layering glitches, missing frames, no frames provided
    • bad organizing/user friendliness.
    • unable to fully preview NX/RP items, which is a really bad transactional model, because there are so many glitches already. a player shouldn't have to buy something before they realize it actually has glitches/missing or no frames (i've submitted item feedback years ago that's never been looked at, and this was for an RP item. not ok) these items should be examined and looked at before they're thrown in. if there are new standards when throwing new items in, that's great. lots of older items still are glitchy, and the buyer should not be accountable for feedback after a purchase.
    • gender fluidity. (more in next section)
    no-brainer QoL
    • better organization such as:
    1. lots of tabs/sub-tabs can be consolidated: instead of a sub-tab in the donor tab for "pets", the main pet tab can have a donor sub-tab.
    2. "package" main tab can contain both a reg NX, and dono sub-tab, freeing up a space in the dono tab for a separate rp ring tab.
    3. "store" sub-tab is in two different main tabs, with different items, this can be consolidated, messy.
    4. "set-up" is a completely unused main tab. both NX and RP chair sub-tabs can go here, since chairs actually go in the set-up tab in game. however, i think this main tab can be used for something completely different, later in the thread
    5. having pet and pack sub-tabs free from the donor main tab gives room for separate face + eye sub-tabs (right now, the acc donor sub-tab has chat/label rings, face, eye, ring (some of which are just stackable "effects", and it's not very intuitive, while others are label/chat rings), earring, and i think that's all. but some of these could be separated into sub-tabs instead of all in one.
    6. pet name included in corresponding pet food so it's searchable
    7. main tab can be updated. website is wrong. much of the info can be consolidated, and can give new info on how to view items using skills etc.
    8. items no longer for sale or available or that have been soft-patched should be removed, no need to keep them floating around, or in searches
    9. the "use" sub-tab in the donor tab can be moved into the main "use" tab, and have it's own donor sub-tab there (all RP purchases require a manual box check qualifier before you purchase them anyway, they don't need to all exclusively be in the donor main tab
    10. items that don't mirror properly left/right, have missing frames, aren't aligned, don't layer properly should be fixed if you're charging ppl cash for them. if an item simply doesn't have frames, and they aren't missing, add them, don't sell them first.
    11. the "set-up" main tab, the "character" sub-tab, are totally unused. set-up can have a new use, but the "character" sub-tab should have AP resets, SP resets, everstones, safety charms, and the transformation scrolls, chalkboards, which just leaves gacha tix, which could definitely merge into another sub-tab, making the entire "game" sub-tab consolidated into other tabs more fitting/efficient
    12. guild emojis can go into "facial expression" sub-tab, where they fit and would be found more easily, not in the "store" sub-tab
    13. there is no good reason we need specific town beauty coupons, especially since they cost the same, it's a pointless mess. you can get rid of almost all of them, and just make universal VIP/basic eye, skin, hair that work in all towns. you just have to travel to the town you want your work done at.
    14. mounts can just all exist in one sub-tab. i don't think it's weird to combine RP and NX mounts together. folks can read.
    15. moving NX cards found in game from mobs to the "cash" item tag, or set-up, so they don't take up ETC space, and instead sit in the cash or set-up tab (moving some key boss items, and ITCG from ETC to set-up would be great QoL as well)
    16. there should be a "sets" tab, where NX/RP sets that have an effect when all equipped are grouped. packages have some of these, but there are some outside of the package tabs, and some package items should be purchasable separately (since that's income/nx sink). and some user friendly feedback, the horoscope set, which is not in the package tab, which actually looks great and is customizable, can't be fully equipped by pirates (sad) because of the missing weapon cover (you get a cool night sky constellation background effect depending on the hat/hairpin you're wearing.
    • just drop the gender restrictions. there's no reason for m/f only restrictions, especially CS items. people who want them will support you, people who don't won't be buying different gender items anyway, or they will later. i don't need to explain this one either, but a genderless char coupon, as well as a gender change coupon should be on the server. if those things aren't important to you, then you don't need to comment on it.
    • increase wishlist size
    • increase "cash inventory" inside the CS. it's easy for a main character to accrue a ton of NX/RP, especially with events, and because most items don't expire. expanding the cash inventory, or selling for nx/rp, cash inventory expansions would be great.
    consider new in-game functions that will bolster additional income


    obviously this post was inside a hyper-specific feedback thread, which never float here, but i didn't want my input to get buried, and i wanted to add a bit more, and reply to zancks in that thread as well:

    first, thank you for reading the feedback. second, i will happily throw dollars at you for permanent, 90/60/30 day skins of adventurer equips. real life dollars, RP. i'll do it again when/if they expire. i am that customer. i can't stand the soft focus pastel kindergartner baby soap opera items the cs is flooded with. i love the old school items and style, but i can't wear them because i have to wear facestompers and SC gloves and the same items as everyone else. me. i'm that customer. i'm that himbo with dollars. please reconsider this.
    • if it's a file space issue, you should be able to just redirect the .img file to the skin, not make a new image, even if it has a different name
    • sell them for RP, as well as tokens, and make them expirable.
    • literally nobody will be confused. when i see someone wearing an outfit that makes them look like a seal, i'm not confused and think, wow, what monster drops the five different seal looking items, i know it's NX/RP, same thing if i see the effect that says "single, sighhh" i know, a. that's nx, b. to not talk to that person. for players who are looking at char info and scrolling thru someone's gear, the reskinned item should just say "[Skin] Bazlud", and it should sequentially appear in the char info gear directly after my actual dagger. "confusion" isn't good logic bc it supposes and implies that if i'm not wearing a 100-110 dagger, or an NX/RP cover on my weapon, nobody questions my motives, which is weird, but that's also because, due to a million factors we can skip for now, everyone is mostly wearing NX/RP anyway, because lots of items in the game are totally obsolete, so they should at least become superficial or repurposed as skins.

    • the "set-up" tab can be renamed whatever
    • the sub-tabs can be something like this
    • the purchase window can have a token option, instead of "other cash"
    • tokens can also appear instead of "other cash"
    • the three buttons at the bottom can be scrapped or repurposed
    • in the above image i used "sets" and "limited/events" as subtabs. "sets" could include full gear sets for a discount, or specialty sets, such as old official maple artwork of the adventurers made into pixel art (lots of fans would love these nostalgia sets), as well as limited time/event, where some limited specialty items could be purchased (use your imaginations here in the thread to aid the feedback)
    • i think reskinned adventurer items could be a little cheaper than normal RP since RP doesn't expire. I think offering an expiring, and a permanent version at different prices is also a savvy move. purchasable w/ both ToT/RP
    • (i'm of the opinion ToT should be awarded from certain successful boss expeditions completed under a certain time as well, since most are only repeatable a few times a day. these are the "PQ's" of the higher levels)
    limited time cs stuff is also a good idea for a new tab. rotating seasonal stuff, event stuff, or just rare opportunities will also drive income, such as the amazing looking blizzard set and items (i've submitted this to the nx thread already)
    it's also worth considering adding a UI button layer that lets you perform your skills with your hotkeys in this window:

    this tab can have whatever icon, but it would recognize your hot keys, and ignores the CS keys when it's clicked. this should be totally doable since it already recognizes where your jump/arrow/attack keys are located, even when customized. there's a handful of simple ways to make skills usable in here without any issues (infinity mp/hp effect applied in this tab, mp/hp req set to zero in this tab, and possibly a maple tree practice mob in here as well, for effect)

    i know this thread is kind of a lot for devs/staff, but i think all of these things are worth paying attention to. i don't expect anyone to do anything just because someone (me) would purchase something, but i'm making the thread because overall, it would have lots of benefits for lots of people, that would generate more support in general for the server, which can mean lots of things for the future.

    TLDR>unisex items, full skill changing/viewing room, consolidate/organize CS, repurpose the wealth of great looking items that are made obsolete, rotating/seasonal items and sets, additional ToT incentive, expiration dates for replayability/income

    While it may not seem like it, many, if not all of the features you are requesting require a lot of dev time that can and should be used elsewhere. We feel that the cash shop is navigable enough as is, and don't see a need to shuffle things around as it has been this way for many years now. There are third party websites players can utilize to see what a weapon or NX item will look like on their character. Thanks for your feedback.
