Since the watch is meant to be a list of things you do throughout the day... did you REALLY think this through?
Did anybody else remember this from awhile back? What followed as many pages of rather flawed logic and ego defending. https://royals.ms/forum/threads/community-blacklist.166479/page-164#post-1387580 Maybe these kinds of players just attract each other. --- Yay somebody pointed this out, gg Cynn. Screenshot that everybody!
after hearing some of the stuff this player said due to his cape being yoinked, i can't help but enjoy the fact that it got yoinked even more
i will leave my personal opinion here and leave it at that. i am honestly confused about the double standard with saledor’s case and other case. other ppl drop item > ppl loot it > person that drop trade the item at fault cos they should not have drop traded it. which i am 100% agreeing with. Saledor case : person dropped weapon (whether intentionally or accidentally is not important). fact is he still dropped it. saledor pick it up. and he is deemed as the one in the wrong (the fact that he resell it back also does not matter). what matters is other ppl drop items and it gets pick up by someone, most of us agree that if you drop your item and lose it, it’s on you for not trading. so i’m just confused about the double standard in saledor case and he even got blacklisted which i feel makes this blacklist kind of biased imo. either you blacklist all the ppl that loot the dropped items or don’t blacklist them at all. i don’t care about the fact that he resell the item back. i only care about the double standards involved. and not becos you guys go oh i don’t like so and so. so he is to blame *TLDR the person who chooses to drop trade an item is always the one at fault. as you could always choose to trade. don’t blame the person who looted it and refuse to return it to you because you are lazy. they are not obligated to return said item to you.
You missed all of the details of Saledors case. There was also a lot of emotional manipulation involved and it was all very disturbing.
i will admit maybe there are details i overlooked. but my point is just the beginning part when the person dropped it. regardless of whether accidental or intentional. i’ll say what happened after is it ethical? no. but the fact remained that the person dropped it. so imo it was already his fault for that. i did see a lot of posts about the unethical parts of it which is fair. but i don’t think it is fair to blacklist him for sth other ppl have also done (as in i have seen posts about similar issues, looting drop item and a lot of unethical stuff involved as well but they are not banned). that’s all
Saledor wasnt blacklisted for picking up the items, he was blacklisted over the rat behaviour of gaslighting, emotional manipulation etc. If he came out and owned it like others did, or heck, even denied it, people would have reacted better.
if you read through the last few pages, i think (im too lazy to actually go back and confirm what im bout to say but yolo) a few people were in the sentiment that the only reason saledor was added to the BL was not only because he looted the item, it's basically EVERYTHING else that was said/not said , done/not done from his part that made it a complete shit show and made it easier to see him land in it. Had it been the way LMD did it, probably wouldn't have been much to it tbh
i think if people were to read back Saledor’s event, many people frowned upon the fact that he picked up an item that was dropped on the floor (on purpose, because all drop trades are purposely dropped on the floor) and sold it back to the player instead of using it and not returning the item (cite case from Casaba on LDMSinsdit). @Geto Although i agree with you conclusion, i would like to point out that any form of drop trading is never accidental as we all well know. It may be perceived as accidental but lets be real, its not. If people disagree to the notion and think it’s because of characteristic issues which is why Saledor was banned, feel free to contact the owner of this forum post to edit the reason found in page 1 of this post. Otherwise let’s stick to the official reason which was given. @Valzer very sorry but this is facutally untrue, lets stick to the facts when making assertions and determining rationality. As said, Saledor's blacklist is agreed to be selling to the same person the item which they purposely dropped. People may respectfully disagree with the view but putting across your comments as facts is unhealthy for the community. If you disagree, just speak to the fourm owner and have it changed. Do it here openly as well if you want to have a general consensus, otherwise, lets stick to facts. Given that the only difference is because one decided to use it/sell to another party rather than sell it at a cheaper price to the same party, then i think it’s rather shameful on us to have double standards in a mushroom game community. So pick one, don’t say it’s because of personality or wtv, the story has been straighten out months ago. If you wish to be fluid on banning people, please do some self-reflection before commenting so that we may focus on facts and not emotions.
How about we treat everything individually by a case by case basis and not do these comparisons? Each and every case is unique in details and context
Yes, the incident was that he sold the item back to his owner. If you followed the blacklist nomination, you would see that the actual reason for his blacklist was his toxic behavior, and it's being labeled in the "toxicity" section. How is it wrong for me to call something under the "toxicity" section to be toxic? No, the main difference is the toxic behavior Saledor displayed. Nobody is banning people, they are just being flagged for being untrustworthy to play with.
so is the saledor flaming session gonna b a monthly thing or what? btw @Casaba the screenshot cant be cropped or shira wont accept it
Well, I do agree with you. It can't be accidental as you need to hover over the item, long click on it, and move it outside of the inventory space for it to be dropped. I don't really feel bad for any of the dudes that dropped the items since it was their own damn fault. Even if saledor wouldn't pick the claymore up, it would just vanish as the player was AFK. Then what? people would flame Saledor for not picking the claymore up when he could, and he would be a shitty player because he didn't help out a fellow community member. People will use anything to create unnecessary drama and chaos when they feel 'bored'. Nobody specific, of course. The fact that people justify not giving a shit on the LDLM or LDLS or whatever tf his name is, and instead rather use this opportunity as a "shit-on-saledor" day proves that people don't care about anything that's going on here, unless it's drama material or a chance to scold somebody on their unethical (as they say) behavior, so they can feel better about themselves while getting stupidly overwhelmed in a fucking 2d mushroom game. A Good friend once told me that living in the past only make me go backwards, and I will never move on and move forward If I continue looking at things I cannot change, or things that already happened a while ago. I already expect the "Saledor brought it up so we have to talk about again to make sure he knows he is a scumbag" comments on what I said, so if that's the case.. spare me.
