Paladin will guarantee you get into almost any bossing party. Bowmaster is also really fun and good but requires so much washing. GL choosing!
Depends. What's your playstyle? Warrior is the cheapest way to go. DrK >> Paladin >> Hero. also a pirate is optional - Buccaneer >> Corsair.
Picking a warrior is up to how you want to play. Overall, all warriors are considered relatively cheap to make in comparison to other classes. Disclaimer: this is my opinion, don't come at me Drk (Gameplay) Drk is more engaging because of zerk, but can be a struggle for some people due to the same reason. Drk relies on zerk for max DPS output Good for multi-target bosses like cwk/zak/ht Hb for people who lack HP for certain content, but hp washing is pretty prevalent Pala (Utility) Everyone loves crash, especially zak/scar/krex/ht, good for party utility Strong single target DPS Doesn't have great multi-target but hh somewhat makes up for it Need to remember the different elements for each boss/body part Hero (Reliability) Pretty reliable class overall, stable multi target DPS with good HP, good for bosses like cwk and zak Can be boring since you pretty much just brandish Can be hard finding a party since there's not much party utility If you choose hero/Pala, keep in mind that both classes can use 2h sword. So you could buy a wep and share between 2 classes
I would avoid any class that have high hp washing like bowman and assassins. Bandits are fine bc they have meso guard to block 50% damage. Any warrior, bandit, bucc, and the other 2 mages since u didn't like cleric. I would look on youtube for pre big bang videos to see which class seems fun at 2nd and 3rd job.
I would advise to not take any advice from non royal specific sources. Royals Is very different. Got custom and adjusted skills, very different gear from old school gms and many other differences
If you have no preferences on playstyle, I recommend bucc as your first attacker because it is one of the two all-around OP classes in the game and the other one (shad) is much more expensive to fund properly. Bucc is wanted in all content, and absolutely essential in a bunch of very key end game content (auf, vl, lhc). You will have no trouble finding parties. They can do everything. Strong dps both single target and multi target, high base hp, best iframes in the game, can be a support class, ranged attacker, melee attacker, pusher/pinner. There's almost no weaknesses. If you make it to 200 you can even tl your own echo. They're pretty solid at early game content too because they get mobbing skills right from the start. You don't really need to hp wash much if at all, and if you do it's very cheap because they gain hp efficiently. I personally can't think of a better starting class atm.
