Kenny's apology

I did not mean to start another fire. I did believe Pure's leakage on the donation and I regret I didn't have the courage to ask Matt about it back then. And just now I realize that the screenshot may not be real in the first place. Regardless, it's not anyone's fault but mine. It's my own greed making me abuse the power. I have no excuse for what I did. I deserve the hate.

Please do not spread the hate or misinformation on other staff members. This server wouldn't exist without Matt and Tim. They are truly the cores of this server. It's my mistake giving them so much headache already and I don't want any more troubles for them to deal with.

Lastly, please lock the thread. It really wasn't my intention to cause more trouble. I am sorry.

 

I can't say I knew you, as I've only just returned after a multiple-year "break" (aka I quit).
I may not know you personally, but I was a staff member here during one of the toughest transitions this server ever faced as we swapped from old source to new source, and as new source was built from the ground up. When you couldn't even enter the cash shop or CC with a buff expiring without d/cing. The game was borderline unplayable at first, and the harassment toward staff at the time was unreal. I received literal, violently graphic death threats in DM because I banned someone for account sharing once. I had people following me to other servers I was checking out out of boredom and harassing me there.

When I, and a few other staff members, got tired of the way things were being handled or the direction the upper staff were taking things - did I abuse my powers as GM? Nah. I just stepped down. We had our disagreements and opinions, but I didn't go and ruin the trust of the server, and the admins, and abuse the power I had been entrusted with.

Stepping away when you're unhappy is the mature thing to do. But breaking people's trust, getting caught, then making a whole pity-filled post about how "horrible of a person" you are, and then continuing to try and spread rumors? (true or not, I don't care) . That's immature.

You could've done without all of that.
A real apology isn't laced with excuses. A real apology isn't filled with attention and pity-seeking comments left and right.

Good luck wherever life takes ya. Learn from this - because the real world outside of online games isn't as forgiving if you abuse the system when you're unhappy with it.
