Item Accessibility of Raven weapons

    Hi there,

    I was thinking about this recently and thought that making the raven weapons (Raven's Claw, Raven's Eye, Raven's Beak, and Raven's Wing) more accessible would be an interesting change. The weapons are really interesting and also just look really cool. Looking at the stats of the upgraded, craft-able versions, they don't seem to me like they would replace the other late/end game weapons since they either have slightly less atk than what's already more accessible or have an upside and downside to them (like being much harder to obtain, having different or worse secondary stats than other weapons of similar lvl, different attack speed values or stat requirements, etc).

    For example looking at the crossbows (just dawn and night variants since they're the stronger ones):

    For Dawn Raven's Eye at lvl 90, it's slightly better than a Neschere for damage with 10 less levels needed to equip, but also comes with DEX and HP. Night Raven's Eye has the same atk and level requirement as Neschere, but with a fast attack speed instead of normal, plus the DEX and HP again. The downside being that it takes more total stats to equip than even a Dragon Shiner Cross (110 STR and 300 DEX for DSC, while NRE takes 135 STR and 280 DEX) and being significantly harder to obtain by:
    • Farming badges from Windraiders, Stormbreakers, etc.
    • Gamble with badges to get the base weapon from Joko
    • Craft it with a stimulator for better stats/godly roll chance
    The most annoying part about getting these weapons is having to get badges to trade, and then hoping you get the base weapon from the pool. I think having better access to obtaining the base weapon to make the crafted versions would be a nice change to add more variety to the late/end game of classes these are for and for them to be more realistic to obtain and use. I think that they should still be hard to obtain like the Crimson weapons and Balanced Furies are, but those weapons aren't stuck behind the badge trading system for one of their materials.

    Here are some ideas I have to help make them (the base weapon, not dusk/dawn/night) easier to obtain within reason:
    • Require less badges to do the trades, as right now it takes 50 of one type or 25 of four types to trade in, and the badges are fairly rare.
    • Make the badges drop more often or become tradeable.
    • Award the badges or weapons from something like CWKPQ, though I'm not that familiar with that content so I'm not sure in what way.
    • Another method to obtain badges other than grinding, like a repeatable quest.
    To counteract the base weapons becoming more available, the crafting recipes for the dusk/dawn/night variants could become more expensive to keep them hard to obtain, but less due to the badge trading system.

    Conclusion:
    I hope this can be considered. I think these weapons are really interesting and it's unfortunate they are impractical to obtain reliably, despite not being very game changing to use over the more common weapons.

    One interesting idea that could be done is introducing a universal Cwk currency that you can obtain by:
    • Killing Cwk / Phantom Forest mobs & area bosses
    • CWKPQ bonus
    • Possible new Daily quest / NLC Sheriff quests
    Then you could use that currency to exchange for something or crafting via Deadman Gorge. I liked in the other server that people were adamant in collecting badges to trade-in because you could potentially get a CS/WS from the exchange. Maybe something similar could be done here along with the exchange/weapon crafting with this new currency. Additionally, you could also introduce currency exchange for BossHunter gear scrolls.

    Staff would have to adjust the droprate downward of regular badges for this currency. And also reduce amount of Stormbadges needed for Cwkpq preq to account for that reduced droprate.
