So always love the events, and some of them are appreciated even on Maple Island. For example there's some great rewards for Anni, etc. But many events have a big chunk that are unusable to people on Maple Island, but they still drop cluttering inventories unless someone wants to bring them to another character on Victoria Island. I think it may be a low lift to offer in an NPC that can trade in some of these items for some exclusive Islander items. Perhaps ones that could be Cash Shop traded to characters on the same account. Basically make a Cody & Token's of Teamwork, but for the various Event Drops Examples Miwok artifacts are unusable to Islanders. They drop from enemies, but they can't trade them in or use scrolls to get any items. Anniversary - Sunshine was useless to Islanders. Winter - Nevermelting Snow Valentines - White & Dark Chocolate It could be something like bring say 250 Miwok Artifacts to Lucas as get an Event Exclusive Piece of Cash Shop Clothing or a specific Chair, or maybe a unique pet to feel extra spicey. You could simplify this and just find one new set of Cash Shop clothing. For Summer you get the hat, for Halloween an overall, for Winter Shoes, etc. Maybe add some extra interest by making it tradable, but only able to be farmed by islanders? Maybe alternate sets every year or few years or whatever. If that's not of interest then just unique gear that islanders themselves can work towards and trade. Or it could be an interesting way to recycle old event cash shop items that are wanted, but don't drop any more. (Coin Sword?) This would give a little bit of a goal for those with islanders, without damaging any meta or nostalgia. This wouldn't impact players who didn't want to do these activities during the event. The lift would be low. Add an NPC like Cody, Wish Ticket Guy, etc. That just User inventory minus 250 %Item return 1 %Prize from a set.
I'd like to point out, that islanders can activate the Chenge quest, but have no NPC to do anything with it. So the Fruit Basket/Moon Pie's are another useless inventory clutter (which is sad cause 1.1 xp/drop would be nice) That this is another case of an event that Islanders have no incentive to play during this time.
