short answer: arrow bomb crit is multiplicative vs arrow rain and inferno are additive. a bit complex answer: overall crits from maplestory are additive that mean ur crit skill gives +100% instead of multiply ur dmg x2 so: arrow rain with ya normal crit : 160%+100% = 260% total dmg arrow rain with crit + SE: 160%+100%+140% = 400% total dmg inferno with ya normal crit: 150%+100% = 250% total dmg inferno with crit + SE: 150%+100%+140% = 390% total dmg Arrow bomb with ya normal crit: 130%*2 = 260% total dmg Arrow bomb with crit + SE: 130%*3.4= 442% total dmg as u can see, arrow bomb has diferent formula thats why its better than 3rd job skills (inferno still better if enemies has fire weakness) Greetings FearlessJyR
Honestly seems like maybe they should re balance this skill stack up progression for bowmasters. I also had the same experience and have arrow bomb on a hot key instead of inferno.. which is niche.
