Character Name: No character yet, as im having trouble installing. Where are you having an issue(s): My issue is with install. When i try to download i get two security notifications claiming the TrojanDropper:Win32/CryptInject!MTB is a severe threat to my computer. I did some google searching on exactly what it is and what risks their are and it doesn't look good. Basically seems like a virus but usually viruses are hidden much better than being named so obviously and picked up by a basic/free preinstalled computer defense program. My question is why is it in here? I really was excited to play this until i seen that and now im pretty uneasy about bypassing it to continue with install. Im hoping its just kinda neccessary for a third party style game or what exactly but id love to figure this out and give this game a shot as long as I am convinced its not an actual threat. It's a false positive by Nexon to prevent private servers They face the same issue as well https://www.nexon.com/maplestory/news/24299/known-issue-anti-virus-false-detections If you do not trust Royals to be safe, you would have to approach the antivirus companies for an explanation for the results
I'm also getting the same message while trying to install Maple Royals and it scared me enough to stop me from installing it. How can it be a false positive by Nexon? They don't make the false positives of Antivirus companies.
