It's a Low priority suggestion but it'd be nice to have skillbooks show their actual skill image instead of the current generalized Maple book image that's used.
I still stand by this logic in the previous feedback thread about this subject. https://royals.ms/forum/threads/skill-book-icon-qol.164105/#post-964401
While I somewhat understand the logic you were going with, I don't think the average player really holds onto that level of immersion. Clarity is more valuable in this case. Just do a community poll to gauge how people would feel about such a change and then go from there.
I agree with you. I think we're being too granular here. I appreciate the caution of wanting to keep the immersion of the skill books looking like books. Its an important piece of video games that I think gets lost in the search for convenience. Its small changes like that, that if made in abundance can erode the fantasy and charm of the world you're playing in, but I think after near 18 years most of us subconsciously know what they are. We immediately know its a skill book and the thought of "hey is this a skill book" doesn't even cross our minds, we just know what it is, and just want clarity to know which specific book it is. If i have 10 different warrior books in my inventory, I want to know which one is Rush or Power Stance and not be stuck having to hover over every icon to find the book I'm looking for. Its even worse for anyone with a book mule with dozens of books on it and you need 3 random books for random jobs to give guildies/friends/random person in fm and you're stuck hovering over every single book in your inventory. If it is possible id like to see if we could somehow place the image of the skill onto the book itself in some way. I'm sure that'll require some hacky image and wz edits that could be time consuming for whoever does it. But that would at least grant both sides a fair outcome
