So, I'm trying to cook potential guild events but am running into the issue of not knowing if what I have in mind is against ToS or not. The idea: Halloween JQ race, fastest time gets a commissioned art of their character. The problem: I'm not sure if this falls under RWT as it's not the trading of items, mesos, or service. It's also not exploiting the game for commercial purposes. But it does involve doing something in-game to win something irl Would appreciate clarification on this!
Sounds like a fun guild event. IMO it's not RWT but I'll leave it to staff to give you an official answer
A similar question was asked here with a detailed response from Dave (Ex-staff at the time): https://royals.ms/forum/threads/is-this-rwt.219988 In my opinion it's fine as long as there's no way to sell off your prize to other people.
I believe the core of rwt rule is to not give anyone an unfair advance in game. There is no exchange of in game benefits so this is probably not going to RWT when you get an official answer. In fact you can see this as a IRL event with a royals element.
