I did Horntail the other day, with someone that did it for the first time. He asked what's the best drops from HT, and as a joke I answered "Power elixer, and if you get lucky we can get some dragon scales" It was a joke that i said because usually the runs are dry, but someone in the party got mad at me for laughing at new players so i assumed he reported me.
While the advice given to you about not making fun of new players is good advice, that was not the reason for your ban. You were temporarily banned for incentivizing others to defame another player, which is against the MapleRoyals Terms of Service, specifically from this clause in the Appendix of Minor Infractions under Objectionable Behavior: Persistent mass defamation will be considered three or more defames by an individual and may also include asking, paying, or otherwise incentivizing other players to defame another individual. Please be more mindful of what you say and do to others while playing. You will meet people who will interpret things differently than how you would, and confronting them about those things can lead to misunderstandings and heated exchanges, resulting in Staff having to issue punishments for those actions.
