Info Regarding Glitch Abuse: A Reminder

Greetings Royallers,

It has come to our attention that this rule needs to be highlighted and a reminder needs to be sent out about Glitch Abuse.

We acknowledge the dedication towards the planning and testing some of you have put into discovering new ways to play the game. However, there is a line between doing that, and exploiting something that some players know is unintentional, and not supposed to happen.

Example of that line:
Avoiding openly advertising another way to gain more EXP that involves a method used to manipulate the mob spawn, but keeping it amongst yourselves and sharing it with other players once they join the party.

Sometimes players don’t know what they are doing is considered Glitch Abuse and do it unintentionally, which is why we urge players to ask Staff about it if they are unsure. Unknowingly participating in the above example is understandable as it was subtle, and if nobody explained it in the party beforehand then they would be even more oblivious to it.

We should not have to make an announcement about every single Glitch Abuse issue, and urge players not to participate in it, as it is already covered under our Terms and Conditions via "documented, or otherwise".

This is your reminder that any kind of future Glitch Abuse related to the example above, glitches discovered in the future, or any other current glitches that Staff does not know about but other players do, will be met with the appropriate actions as per our Terms and Conditions– with or without an announcement.

If it feels like it should fall under the Glitch Abuse category– don’t participate in it, and let Staff know so we can confirm if it’s working as intended.
