Fixed for Next Update 2 lanes golems LHC

just found out this is a bug and not a feature lol.

can aggro 1 golem at top and all of the golems will spawn at the bottom so it's better EXP.

Literally no one who does golems knows it's a bug, everyone is doing it. If it's not fixable, please announce it's not allowed and indeed bug abuse.

I must say the timing that your report it is a little weard.

First you use it yourself to get to 200 and then suddenly you realize woww this is not right, i personally dont belive you did not know this before that something was rong.

Further on the situation this is something that was activly smega'd and well known that 2 lane golems was really good exp and not a secret that people wanted to keep under the wrap.

I hope that they deem it a feature since you still need to create a good pt with 2 rushers and remain active killing for the full hour.

 

Bruh, you've been around for a year + and you recently hit 200. We all know that you know how this server works. Abusing the bug/glitch and then looking for credits when reporting it because you don't need it anymore.

@Heidi, this is a old bug/glitch which I've seen people 'abusing' through smegas for a couple of months (ish) now. Why hasn't anything been done earlier to fix this or inactivating the platform/map earlier since @Becca now has to make an announcement to make people aware of the importance of bug/glitch abusing. My conclusion (I hope that I'm wrong) is that they had no idea to what extent this bug/glitch had gone to since none of them play the game themselves. But hey, at least now they know.

I recently took a step back from the game and forums.

Reporting bugs and players is hard tedious work and I wouldn’t expect any player to do it since how archaic the system is. Having to record a video or getting multiple screenshots, showing the scenario at least two different instances to prove more validity, and seeing if there’s legitimate reasoning they may be abusing it across multiple characters. I wish there were easier ways to report bugs and exploiters.

That being said hopefully the new staff changes bring a fresh more active in-game perspective so something like this doesn’t happen again.

It’s a bug and half of the players don’t even know that vote abusing is bannable before 2 years in (maybe now that we make them read the voting rules like 5 times its only 25%?). I’d personally just give most players the benefit of doubt that they weren’t sure if it was a bug or a feature and they’re too lazy to properly report it, as i said earlier though, reporting kinda blows.

 

Because:
1. I haven't even leveled a character during this, so I couldn't care less about it.

2. I understand that staff members have their own lives and dedicate time to handling ban appeals and other responsibilities. However, the addition of two new GMs is a great improvement because at least some staff members actively play the game and can see what’s happening in-game firsthand. This particular bug/glitch has been one of the most publicly discussed issues I’ve seen during my time on Royals. Most of us didn’t think it even needed a report since it seemed like something the staff would notice themselves—again, if they actively played the game.

3. Fixing non-game-breaking bugs or glitches ( not like the recent one where Von Leon dropped an excessive amount of items which took a couple of hours before it was fixed) tends to take an incredibly long time on Royals. It’s not very encouraging for someone like me to report bugs or glitches that don’t directly affect me, especially when recent patches and updates have primarily focused on login issues (though I understand some staff have been occupied dealing with the DDoS attacks over the past few months) or minor fixes like how you sit on chairs. As I mentioned, reporting issues feels disheartening when it seems like the staff’s main focus is simply keeping the server functional rather than actively improving it.

 

Why don't staff just put the time in to fix said bugs instead of letting them linger for too long?
It creates a lot of grey zones and potentially uneven punishment that can be dealt.
Before you say I have no right to complain at free volunteers not fixing a major known bug for a few months, here are 2 other examples of mob related highly abusable glitches that were mentioned and not fixed:
1. Gargoyles in VL are killed instantly on the right side of the map if pushed (exists for over 2 years)
2. Mobs in auf mob stage disappear when using doom when they fly below the platform (exists for over 4 years)

These bugs are being abused constantly, and the fault here is mostly on staff for not fixing it for so long.

 

Yes they would, for months and longer people are activily using smega's to recruit 2 lane golems for a pt and anyone was welcome.
This isn't something that was kept hidden or anything this was open info and publicy shared.

i never knew it was a bug or thought of it as a bug since peoiple where using smega's to promote it and teaching it to every new player that was in lhc golems.

i honestly belive that more then 50% of the active golems runners where running with this tactic.

like i said before you still need 2 good rushers warriors and remain active for 1 hour.

Everyone did this, not just a couple of people who knew whos characters belonged to the GMs.

What I meant is that either if they played and leveled a character on their own they would of seen it. Or if they were online enough to see smegas saying "R> Golems, 2 lanes". Then they could investigate what it meant and seen it for themselves.

 

I almost give it to you til reading this. The 2 lanes smegas have been going on for around months, at first they smega'd "R> Golems 450m EXP", I was thinking to myself how the hell can them dudes can get to 450m EXP since it's 1.5x an normal run. I think it shoulda raised some alarms to the staffs and they definitely have looked into it...
