Earlier at 27 Dec 2024, 11 00 00 ish, snow blower popped. I went to do Ch1's snowman on my Pally. Upon clearing the ch1's snowman, i exchanged for present and relog into my Shad (in another account) for snowman entry at Ch3. Upon given the mittens, i tried to go in but i receive the following : So i checked with my guildies and tried the following : 1) Relog my Shad client to try to enter the map, but to no avail 2) Close all my other clients including Shad client, and reopen a brand new client from my desktop to my Shad, and tried going in Ch3's snowman, also to no avail For your information, I already download and installed the new patch of "MapleRoyalsSetupImg-26.12.24". If this is intended for 1 char entry PER SESSION or just imposed nerf on me, do let me know...
Experiencing the same thing after doing Snowman in channels 1 and 3 on two characters. Now my other characters are blocked from entering even after closing the clients of the first two characters and relogging on the ones that haven't entered.
Perhaps its time to accept that we are respectfully nerfed post patch with such limitation as part of the game balancing ..
Could you please try logging back onto the first character you entered Snowman on, and changing maps by going through a portal or NPC, and seeing if this fixes the issue? Also interested to know the method of logging out on those characters. Did you log out from within the snowman map, or in Happyville? and did you choose menu > exit or X at top right?
I personally rather Staffs do this testing when they can instead of getting players to do it for them... But to assist Staffs, I will try moving my char away from Happyville later if I have the time. Earlier, I logged out at Ch1 Happyville after I exchanged present to quickly login on my Shad into Ch3 Snowman earlier. I will try to move my char into Santa's map or back into FM to test it out later when Snow blower pops again.. As for this, when I log out from within Happyville beside the Tree NPC via the menu, and my client is the same but i relog into my shad on another account at the Login page to enter Ch3 fm, this did not work as I got the msg. So after enquiring with my guild, I tried the " X " at the top right too by closing all my clients, and starting a brand new client and attempted to go into Ch3. Sadly, I still got the same msg. Edit : Perhaps I misinterpreted ur msg, u wanted me to test the following scenarios : 1) Move finished char out of Happyville after exchanging present, use menu to log out before logging in on same client to try next snowman 2) Move finished char out of Happyville after exchanging present, use top right 'X' to close client before starting a new client to try next snowman
As of 27 Dec 2024, 14 50 00 ish's snow blower session, I used 1st Client with 1st Char at Ch2 snow blower, and also open 2nd client with 2nd char to camp outside Ch3 at Happyville. Upon finishing and exchanging box, I moved that 1st char into a different map without logging out - Santa's map. I switched to my 2nd client, managed to get into Ch3's Snowman. It worked, but I dunno how to replicate the previous experience.
