Edit: There was no issue with royals, it was a hardware issue with my PC. Character Name: nothing specific. Instance of such DC is on WennieSI on 11/01/2025 23:55 client closed during shao. Details of the issue: Lately the royals client just dc for some of my charecters sometimes. I multi client a lot and the issue only seem to accur on my main PC. I use a 2nd PC with windows 10 and I never DC there, clients can be left open for days. Also when I run clients on virtual machines they dont seem to DC either. When I run on my main PC (windows 11) clients just randomly DC. I saw another post claiming to solve this by uninstalling 3rd party anti virus but i dont have any. can share a few "feelings" about when it happens and when it doesn't. - When I AFK in FM it happened a lot. - Happened the most while farming on Ulu1 map, there I could DC every like 20-30 minutes. - DCed once on shao and once on krex. - Happens more often when I have more clients open. - Doesn't seem to ever DC while in cash shop I would emphasise then usually only 1 client DC, the rest are just fine. Also, I am using IMG client but I did try to use WZ and it either got worst or just didn't change. What error code were you given(if any): nothing, just close entirly. Not the same problem at all. My clients dont DC all at once, only 1 at a time. And I dont have any error message like that, client DC complitly not to login screen. From what I understand you just have a network issue.
Happen to get error code -2147287038 on one of my DCs if it matters. Also, The royals clients tend to get stuck a lot too (not crush but the process is not responding and I have to close it with task manager, the char dc before I close it).
Another update. I did not test it very long but I think it is solved and was a problem on my end. My PC got a few BSOD, I got angry and faught with it, updated bios, drivers, other shit and ever since I didn't have any clients closing like that.
Seems like we are having the same problem(s). Sometimes -2147287038, sometimes the client just freezes and DC the char, sometimes the client just disappears without any notice. It happens when I am at VL, DOJO, CWKPQ, etc. I reclient before the runs. If the client crashes and I open again, it could crash again in a few minutes (CWKPQ, DOJO). It happens on different chars. Sometimes two clients are on, but only one of them crashes (the one doing contents). NVIDIA graphics is turned off when I’m mapling. Jan 27 2025 IMG
updating again because seems like seem like people still end up on this thread looking for solutions. this didn't solve the issue, apperently my CPU was fucked (intel 14th gen), and thats the issue. so it had nothing to do with royals
