Got a 14 day ban for Winter Dash. Was taking my vacation as per normal serving my time. Get pmed during my holiday break I got permanently banned. Have multiple people PMing me there have been voice calls where my permanent ban was being shared before I even knew myself. Was only aware it was a 14 day until people told me I was permanently banned. Multiple sources and intuition tell me it was Feisty and the information was being spread to her friends and guildies in Ours. Why I have to have like 5-6 PMing me trying to rat me for information and see if I’m embarrassed I got permanently banned as I was enjoying my Christmas break is beyond me. Absolute despicable behavior. If I’m permanently banned then so be it. I don’t want this abuse of staff power to sway the decision. But what an absolute joke the end week of December was.
That being said. I request literally any staff member except Feisty to update me on this appeal. I am fine with longer wait times. Due to my lack of trust and detestment towards that Staff member from the events I mentioned above. I hope staff can fulfill that request.
Hey Jae, You have discord DM'd me about the topic of your ban status at the tail end of 2024 and I do agree with you that players shouldn't learn about your ban status (from staff allegedly) if you haven't posted about it publicly or told anyone yourself. On discord you did mention that you 'told 5-6 people about your initial ban status who you knew wouldn't go around yapping' which does make it difficult to determine where certain rumors blossom from. We also agreed that this was a separate topic from your ban though, and you should consider reporting your theory with evidence and the rumors/testimonies you collected to Matt and/or myself on forum inbox so we can look at all of it in one place and go from there regarding potential staff position abuse. Having said that, this is a ban appeal and it's not the place for that topic, all our further comments on this ban appeal thread should be about your ban. You're correct that on 2024-12-25 you were banned for 14 days for breaking the double winter dash rules (glitch abuse). During the process of banning your accounts we uncovered that some of your information linked to another banned account so on the same day your ban was upgraded to a permanent one for ban evading. Do you own characters storiedblob, dawnyan, myFmMule?
Hi sorry for the delay. I recognize dawnyan. I do not recognize the other two. Dawnyan was one of my first accounts I made when I started the server. This was before the control panel came out, I forgot the login info and back then we had to manually request for resets and I just decided to abandon the account and start anew. Some of my original accounts are under the same email but I later transitioned to mainly using just one. That email later got compromised but I never bothered updating the accounts that used the old email because I had no reason to and I didn’t want to bother with it. I had not touched Dawnyan in almost a decade. I played it for a few days but then I forgot the info, but I felt no big loss abandoning the account since it only got to the 30s iirc. This was before PIC/PIN came out so I believe if it got banned it was hacked.
Dawnyan was created on 2020-05-06, we did have pins and pics the character myfmmule was created 2020-05-17 (11 days later) the character storiedblob was created 2020-05-24 (7 days after myfmmule)
Can you confirm the pic/pin is different from the rest of my accounts as a contributing factor to the validity of my claim of the account was hacked? I haven’t had use of that account in almost a decade. If it got banned for rwt or hacking I didn’t have anything to do with it. I did create the account and iirc a made at least one mule but the igns were very uninspiring names and I forgot about them entirely since they didn’t follow any naming schemes I use. I saw in a ban appeal in ~2020 myfmmule was banned in an RWT related case. I also took a 2 year break between 2020-2022 if that mean’s anything. You can see the time gap in my forum activity and maybe on the logs.
Is there anything I can update here. I lost the account w dawnyan and myfmmule very early on. I didn’t partake in any RWT middle manning or schemes. your account is from 2020-05-06 as mentioned before which isnt even half a decade ago. Claiming you haven't used it in almost a decade doesn't make sense. You asked to check if the account was hacked, and it wasn't. The connection history on the account never changes IP, HWID and MAC addresses from creation until ban on 2020-05-26 (twenty days from creation to ban)
