if BM tries to do the same thing, hurricane does literally nothing until the character lands again. this feels bad and afaik it's literally the only skill in the game that becomes useless when input as a jump-attack.

hurricane has two major parallels: corsair's rapid fire, which is not interrupted if the character leaves the ground, and marksman's piercing arrow, which has been buffed to be usable in the air. at this point, it's a consistency issue

No objection. Especially bc it's a tight window for RF/strafe/snipe to jump shoot consistently.

    nah it looks incredibly silly
but i think single shot skills would look "archerly" or marksman-like or whatever as jump attacks
mid-air spin attack looks funny as hell and lives up to its name though

What's depicted in this video is not what I am proposing. In the video, I can see that Matt is able to initiate Hurricane in midair. I am proposing that Hurricane work the same as Rapid Fire, which cannot be initiated in the air but still shoots bullets if you jump-attack with it.

I like it. May even help bowmasters with bosses like rose garden golem when they double slam.

other examples I can think of would be chao’s knockback skill but most people usually just shift position to dodge it.
