Lol love the bacon heart. Trades, selling, also go lucky with some people dropping items in free market during drop games (earings / sauna robes etc)

Appreciate the info, but I'm mainly looking at how you obtained 4b in the course of a few days from selling low tier items in your shop that were not worth anywhere near that. For example, you sold a red valentine rose for 1b that was not even worth a few million mesos.

I didn't think anyone was going to buy that tbh, if you go check stores in free market you'll see many people will put garbage items in for high amounts - pretty sure I saw a red potion in a shop for 2b mesos lol. Also worth noting I sold scrolled earings and necklaces and sauna robes + other things that I had.

Consider that people on the server are also quite kind from what I've experienced, I've been training on multiple occasions and people whom I have never met or talked to will just see I'm a spearman and trade me gear or drop things just to be nice (I've tried to fame most people that did this to me). I also was in fm when someone just randomly dropped like 9 sauna robes - of course I'm going to pick these things up that's part of the fun.

If you're thinking I'm hacking I can assure you that I'm not, just a lucky noob with a nostalgia trip.

as a side note - I also donated to this server a week or two ago to buy some stuff from the cash shop but I'm just now noticing that I never got an upgrade on my forum account, you can see the proof if you look at my equips on my wizard. (assuming we work through this it would be nice to have that reflected on my forum account too)

Regarding donations, you’d have to request the forum change here (in the appropriate sub-forum, but the link has the instructions): https://royals.ms/forum/forums/donations-donator-npc.69/

Regarding your ban, we are not worried about whether you hacked or not. We are confident that you purchased mesos from a real world trade (RWT) seller (or multiple sellers) and they purchased the items from your shop. This is not a new method for us and as much as I’d like to think our kind player base purchased 4b in items from you (that were worth less than 100m), that is not the case here. The individual (or people) who bought your items have been caught as well as they were verified RWT sellers.

I don't know how well you can trace the items but maybe you can see there was one day where two low level characters were dropping earings to eachother and thought I was afk, when I picked up the items they were all scrolled and I sold them. One got mad at me but I figured that’s part of the risk of dropping items to transfer to another character and he didn’t even ask for his stuff back. Was it nice on my part? Maybe not, but when I played back in 08/09 dropping items was always fair game (and again they didn’t even ask for the items back).

Another day a guy literally dropped 9 sauna robes. Another day someone in CPQ dropped like 25 spiegelmanns necklaces and I picked up all of them.

All of these items have the ability to sell very high esp when scrolled.

Some random guy gave me +7 maple weapons and 20 million mesos when I first started in orbis randomly too.

Tbh I’ve been shocked at how kind / helpful people have been, honestly a nice experience coming back and scratching the nostalgia itch after many years.

Anyways, I maintain I have not bought or traded anything outside the game for mesos. I did some research on maple royals bans and saw there were quite a few (and even a famous case on Reddit where someone fought for 1.5 years to finally get back in but had to post many screenshots of all transactions etc.) I have no such screenshots as I was literally just enjoying the game and community. I never thought I had to exercise extreme caution in doing so.

One final thought, I wonder how many people these “confirmed” rwtraders ever engaged with and if everyone they touch gets banned. I’m also curious if they engage with more people than just people that buy things from them to make their accounts seem less culpable.

Let me know either way, this is my first account / time really playing maple royals, I’ve had fun and would love to continue to play and support here. If not, then I disagree but we all move on with our lives.

We do infact ban everyone involved with RWTers. It is pretty clear to our admins who is RWTing once a seller is discovered. Unfortunately, your story doesn’t line up with what would actually happen, and you will remain permanently banned for RWT. We wish you the best of luck on another server.
