    Hellou!

After reinstalling windows, and setting up VMWare I discovered my Maple wont start, it just shows a whitescreen with sound of Maple only. I tried adjusting Compatibility mode to 98/ME or any other there was, still nothing. I tried running setup in MapleRoyals folder still nothing.

Anyone could suggest anything else I could try please?

Well here are my points on this.
(What Windows version are u using?)

    • do not resize the VMware window while maple is running in full screen mode
    • select "run as administrator" in execution options
    • if running vista/7 also check compatibility mode "Windows XP service pack 3"
    • maybe u didn't provide the VA enough vram / direct x hardware support?

I heard maple don't work with anything but VMware workstation on win 8 that's why.
You could try some other VMware program might fix it, I would recommend workstation I use it and it's very simple.

I'm not entirely sure if you're running VMWare on OS X, but if you are, I've found in my personal experience that Parallels is a lot more stable and reliable than VMWare is.

Edit: thought you were having Royals white-screen issues. But the same advice still applies: Parallels > VMWare.

Plss I had to google to check there actually were different VMware, but google VMware workstation 11 that's the one I'm using.
was a bit hard to find the free download version.

Here is the link you can google it or something not always good to click on others links.
    http://www.vmware.com/products/workstation/workstation-evaluation

You would also need to buy it or it will expire in a few days.

Well I don't know why I didn't asked yet, is the reason you're running VMware at all because of the instability of The Wine Mac Wrapper?

if so I would recommend using either parallels or even better boot camp.

Im using windows 7, and installed win xp on the VMware. it was working perfectly fine a couple of days ago, but was laggy. So i completly reanstalled my windows 7 and started building everything again, and today this happened, and it literally breaks when I try to upgrade win xp on vmware to win xp sp pack 3 , because nothing else seems to help to get rid of white screen

Well if ur running win7 on your computer, why the hell do u want to install vmware at all ?
do u need more as 2 instances of Royals (sandboxie) at the same time ? because theres no point of VMWare otherwise.

My boyfriend @Kith posted a topic for alternative, because with sandbox it just runs out of memory and client closes after 20-30 minutes

Well if it runs out of mem with sandbox i guess you will have way bigger problems with a full emulated VM as this is consuming MUCH more resources as a sandboxie

@Petty i would need further information then, to understand what exactly your problem with sandboxie is.
You said something about "it runs out of memory and closes" with memory you meaned RAM ? Do you have proof for that theorie ? How much System Memory do u have installed ?
