Good day! I haven't been on maplestory for quite awhile. I noticed I had some troubles getting my game to work. I got the game working but now I can't seem to log on to either my account or my friends accounts. None of the accounts are banned. My first connection issue was the one with the Gr2D not working as intended : http://royals.ms/forum/threads/failed-in-finding-proper-screen-mode-for-gr2d-what.2672/ I fixed that one but now when I open maplestory I can't log on to my account. This is as far as I make it: My friend tried to log on both of our accounts for his place and it works just fine over there. Doesn't seem to work at all at my place. Anyone got any suggestions to what might be wrong here? A possible fix would be great. Thanks
I am having this issue as well. I can logon fine with other connections/routers, so I suppose there might be some kind of IP-ban or ban on the mac address of the router. I can't login with any account from my home, while all of my accounts work somewhere else.
Yeah, that's so wierd. The only ban I got once was a 24h ban for smacktalking a GM after being KS'd. If it would help a GM, my accountname is 'mikil'. Thanks
Disable uneccesary network adapters, E.g. Microsoft Loopback Adapter, Hamachi, etc. Also, please understand that it is again the terms and conditions for anyone except yourself to have access to your account. You will be banned for 30 days or permanently depending on the seriousness of the offence if you let other players use your account.
I do not have any auxiliary network adapters. I have been banned for KS'ing before, can it be possible that some aspects of the ban have remained? IGN: DootDoot
