So I completely forgotten about the fact that once you leave the island you cannot come back again. Now as an upcoming Quest Virtuoso I have a few quests unfinished due to being a mage, leaving the island at 8 to become one and lacking the strength to actually eliminate my targets for Bigg's and Mai, has it's toll on me. Quests unfinished will linger on with me for the rest of my holy life, the inability to aid Mai and Bigg's will haunt me in my dreams. Will they get someone else to help? Are they in danger because of me? Who knows, maybe someday... Serious edit: A solution might be to be able to just forfeit the quests undone there and not to go back so they wont be stuck forever in the quest log. Another solution and I'm not sure if it's possible to code in at all, is the AP reset at job advancement GMS implemented later on so all players could dump ap into STR while leveling up to their respectful levels for the jobs of their pick while being able to actually kill mobs in the island.
If it's an actual suggestion to allow players back on the island, well, that's just impossible. That would allow people to bring op gear to the island
I don't think Maple Island would have the budget necessary to build a customs arrival zone that could adequately screen every arriving visitor to ensure they were not carrying items that are unlawful to bring onto the island. It should still be possible to get the medal without having completed all of the maple island quests - it's just unfortunately a bit more difficult.
i wish we could at least forfeit unfinished maple island quuests so they arent stuck in the journal forever
I'm thinking just forfeiting the quests or something else like the first job AP reset GMS implemented later so everyone could be a strong beginner but then go their own way with their own APs.
There is a whole community of Islanders who would be negatively affected by a return to Maple Island feature. As someone who has worked hard to attain level 80 on Maple Island, this suggestion is a hard pass from me. I do, however, like the idea of forfeiting the quests after leaving. +1 for that.
Yeah the solution of return will clearly have a negative effect on the island. I suggested forfeit or AP reset for all after leaving.
Hmmm idk if It's possible but perhaps changing the quest type to be like the mob killing quests after 1st job that you can finish and begin the next one anywhere?
I don't think it's impossible to have a return to maple island kind of thing. Just make a duplicate of maple island that doesn't intersect with the real maple island, and let people return to chill, roam around, and finish up those quests they missed out on. You could have some small differences here and there (like different dialogue of NPCs welcoming you back), but it doesn't have to be crazy or a lot of work. As far as I know, it would be a bit of busy work, though. I think it's a cute idea to be able to return to where it all started after a long journey on your main character. Thematically it would be a nice regular addition to the anniversary events.
