Howdy, I run Proton VPN every now and then for other applications in the background, but I have my browser and specific apps added as exclusions so that my normal network adapter is used rather than the VPN. I figured I'd do the same with MapleRoyals, but the moment I enter my pin I just get the "You have been disconnected from the login server." while the VPN is active, so I imagine there's a connection being made elsewhere that is not going through the app itself, causing it to error. Is this something I can resolve (ie. by whitelisting an IP?)
This issue isn't due to the IP address, but an invalid MAC address given by the ProtonVPN You may refer to this thread - https://royals.ms/forum/threads/ban-appeal.226765/
I've configured MapleRoyals to use my physical adapter (hence why I assume that there's a connection made outside of MapleRoyals itself) The thread you linked uses a typical VPN setup. I could of course totally be wrong and I might just be a bit stubborn on this, but I don't think I'm misunderstanding my setup
Hey mate I've used a similar setup re: split tunelling with ProtonVPN in the past successfully. There is some technical setting you need to change, unfortunately I can't remember off the top of my head but may be able to check later at my PC.
