Mob aggro changes since last SC

    Hey,

    Not sure if this is an intended change or not, but since the last SC, mob/boss aggro has changed in a way that makes mobs that would previously use skills to attack at a range that allowed ranged classes to efficiently lure mobs to corners and attack them to no longer do that and move towards the player.
    For example, previously when doing ranged LHC runs, it would be normal to lure the golems in such a way that the party could stand at the edge of the map and hit the golems without moving as the golems used their ranged attack. Now, golems would randomly just walk into the players, making the lhc run much less efficient and hard as it causes the golems to spread across the platforms and makes it almost impossible to herd them. This also happened to me with Chao, Ephenia, and Shao's spawns when luring them to a bishop.

    Again, not sure if this is an intended consequence of the changes from the previous SC, but it makes life as a ranged player somewhat harder and I just wanted to get confirmation on whether or not this was intended.

    gotta say that it makes melee life ain't that easier either.

    i had to spend a significant amount of time from my heartstopper(s) today at CWK cause the bosses refused to stay cornered.

    it feels like a nerf to every knockback ability there is (corkscrew, rush, etc etc).

    Thanks for the input! I don't have any melee characters so I didn't know whether or not this actually tangibly affected them too

    I also noticed mob aggro changes since last maintainance as well, like clones of Shao, imperial guards of Dunas v2, they could be easily lured by BS, now seems just one of the mobs stick with BS with ranged attack, and others wondering around and occasionally walk in and attack.

    Yup, can't solo Ephenia on my NL anymore after this change. I used to be able to hit Ephenia when her fairies were behind her or when I was standing between her and the fairies, and they kept their range. Now it's a mess and they always come towards you and once she spawns enough she's pretty much untouchable.

    I support this thread. Ranged we already have such a hard time finding parties for LHC. Also, the other daily bosses make us reposition way too often. This cuts our DPS significantly, sometimes it's not even worth the time anymore to do these bosses for me at least.

    It will also be even harder than before to farm burning energy for NL now as ranged golem parties was the best way to farm it before. Hope you got that perfect ifia ring/VL belt already or you will be stuck trying to kill mini-golems in RG bon 3rd map (by far the worst bon map for NL)

    Aggro indeed changed.
    Dunas V1 for example no longer touch damages warriors standing on the top platform making super knockback and stun more often since It's impossible to dodge the magic 1/1 attack unless you have holy shield activated to avoid stun & power stance to avoid most of the KB's.

    So except Shad & Bucc that can dodge via iframe all the other jobs suffer much more without the touch dmg.
