So I was convinced I figured out a great meso making method... Guess what my genius idea was? ... Scrolling maple shields. If any of you were online the past week or so, i was consistently selling high tma maple shields for very cheap. My method was simple, just trusting my intuition and using a mixture of 30%s,60%s, and 70s. At first I'd use 7 70s and then 3 60s. and then after a while of that. I tried doing 2 30s and 8 60s. then got a lot of my money back plus free mesos. tried doing both of those methods. and now it seems like i just keep fucking up either the 30s, the 70s keep booming or the 60s for some reason dont work. and i kept getting "lucky" where id use my last 300m and it goes to 1.8bill. then I use all of that 1.8bill aand end up back at 300m. then repeat. so probably spent 6-8bill just one scrolls lately. i also tried gambling with storm caster gloves and boomed 4 of them. so thats where i lost a decent chunk.. now im back at 50m mesos. thinking im close to something. maybe someone out there honed it down and has some advice? or am i chasing impossible odds with rng? it doesnt feel like rng i just need to back off quicker once i notice something. but it seems like when i get extra cautious. its to late because i already blew a few hundred mill...
Its a terrible idea. First, simple math. Yes if you are gambling with a large portion of ur total cash each time, you are highly likely to go bankrupt. Maple shield has 10 slots and usually people don’t buy unfinished m.att shield. You are taking a lot of risk especially when there is no event 100% m.att scroll (not the +1 m.att scroll). Calculate before you invest… (and it’s super hard to do the math for a 10-slot item..) or just avoid scrolling it, unless u gacha in Shrine and Showa a lot and got tons of 30%, 70% and 60% scrolls that u wanna get rid of..
i did ask chatgpt to calculate and was telling me it was like 5 to 10 percent chance of my goal each time
Then the chance of failing 4 times in streak is > 0.9^4, or say 2/3. Shouldn’t be surprised if u lose the game
Guess you have better chances gambling on scg, 4 70% if it works go for a 100% event scroll, its around 1b profit. If some 70% fail dont go for event scroll and try another 70%, 13 att gloves can still recover some money spent.
you are not factoring the booms / failures... in your best case you make 1b, if it does't go exactly as you plan? you got a 0.2401 change to pass 4x70%, thats not much.
