CLOSED: Can't drop unhatched egg from Easter event

Hi, I can't drop the unhatched egg etc. I obtained from the Easter event.
I've forfeited the quest but still doesn't work.
Is this a bug or a feature?

 

Are you sure that you forfeited the right quest?

Cause the egg should have disappeared already.

 

i've also forfeited the quest and its still present in my inventory

 

Dropped mine with no issues. Note that I haven't fed the egg and powders.

 

Looked into my quest list today and forfeited the quest again and the egg disappeared...I was so sure that I have forfeited the quest previously though but I could be wrong...
