The reason : Some players consider that I am using 6mages to solo farm LHC is an abuse ; And now I have 6SD, all equipped with 145 dragon kanzir + 43/8 dragon khanjar It looks like as an abuse, should be nerfed too.
6 shads with those equips are far more difficult to obtain and find then 6 mages solo farm. And 6 shads working together (not a single player with 6 clients) is amazing feat that encourage team play and should keep its unique mechanics imo. Shads are in a good place right now, yes they are good and versatile but they are not cheap by any means and have they downsides.
Permanent Smoke can be used for multi-mage farming With this design, aside from HT/AUF, no boss can survive more than two cycles. The attack damage is roughly 200–400M per 10 minutes (depending on what attack potion you use). In VL runs, other players have already used this method to clear the content. The difficulty has dropped to the point where it can be done with 6–8 players. Unless more debuffs are added, even those would be ignored by Permanent Smoke. (Players really dislike this design—in some ways, it actually discourages players from bringing multiple attackers.) According to players really hate any gamestyle that can enhance the mage farmer ,now you can invite more players to support this policy
My belief is that if there is a problem caused by X by some players, then X shouldn't be nerfed for the entire player base. you are completely ignoring the several cases when there is only 1 shad in a party and his ss is very valuable to the party and not op at all - this is the situation with the majority of the player base, imo mage farming and 6 shads runs are much more niche and not as common as the average player base. if this enhance mage farming then maybe mage farming itself should be the core issue devs needs to look into and not smokescreen for shads. you are overlooking en entire community of shads players here that are not even close to doing those bosses and just doing their dailies and getting help from their smokescreen doing so, and I believe this is the majority again. if multishad party are problematic (and I'm not saying I don't understand why) then maybe an encouragement for multi class party like enhance drop or exp rate should be implemented (or the other way around - decrease exp and drop for single class parties) or something of this nature, but this is for the devs to decide.
You are right But the Staff will change the rules based on how one player plays. Not related to the number of users (Zak leech /LHC mob change to magic attack) Since other players do not question this phenomenon, they will not wake up until their own interests are affected. This feedback is no different from the past, and they have always been against mage farming. When I agree that mage farming should be stopped Why did they suddenly change their minds and want to stop it, because their own gameplay was affected? Even though the basis of my feedback is the same as theirs? The decision is never up to the players.
Respectfully, the people with too much time on their hands to play this game will always find the 'next best thing' to abuse. Nerfing everything into the ground because a handful of players game the system will only result into less enjoyment for the casual player. I am a shad main and I like my 90s of smokescreen every 10 minutes very much. Nerfing it to 60s will hit me hard, whilst the die hard players you are talking about will probably just level up 3 more shad mules and still enjoy their 540 seconds of smoke with some juggling.
instead of nerfing single character gameplay, why dont we nerf multiclient content or outright make a rule limiting amount of clients by a single person? Back to the topic of this thread, I think 90s for smokescreen is just fine, nerfing to 60 will not impact VL or other engame content anyways. I think a better way to make the game more skill based would be to nerf TL. Less smokes and less ressurections are both good changes that will happen due to that. It will also not nerf single client shad or single client bucc at all, just hurt the synergy of bucc with other classes which is the main root of the problem.
I kinda agree with this, I mean this guy could make 6 x 200lvl whatever job like Shad and abuse it to the point that it sounds reasonable to nerf Prince of Persia into Teletubbies. Meanwhile, 90% of players still enjoy the game like normal players do. _____ I don't usually open more than 3 clients, If someday I feel daring and open 5th clients my computers would ramp up the fan to 100% to ask me to put more money into it let alone control it. To make use of 6 shads/mages or w/e, I couldn't imagine myself doing it even with the help of my 5th limbs. I'm scared of the OP and have huge respect for him at the same time, if he deemed his 6 shads all welding perfect daggers & shields smoke-screen shenanigans destroying LHC is abuse then I think he has every right to abuse it, but I don't think casual remainder have to suffer from it and die at a tail rush HT run .
I agree with every single word here. Nerfing a class for the sake of nerfing a behavior or an outcome of that class is not treating the root cause. if mage farming is the issue, fix mage farming and don't nerf other classes and hurt casual players. Have to disagree on that feedback.
