Rose Garden Improvement Plan

    This is the endgame map. As the number of server players increases, the map becomes more crowded.
    There are several suggested ways to make changes:

    1. After defeating KCG, add a small room — similar to the waiting room before Zakum or the concept of CPQ rooms. Place the NPC Cecilia there, and other players can also spawn in this room. Set this as an in-map area where players cannot change channels, and logging out will return them to the Gardener's Spot. This map has no time limit, meaning there will effectively be three rooms for players to fight the bees simultaneously, making it less crowded.

    Choosing this method allows players to form teams inside the room and get team benefits (SE/SI/HS/HB), but only one player can enter at a time. There is an opportunity for cooperation, which may resolve NL’s dissatisfaction but could also be prone to abuse.

    2. Reduce the timer duration and decrease the number of bees, with rewards remaining the same. For example, give 30 minutes to complete the whole map with only 10 bees on the field, or have non-shared timer time, giving only 10 minutes to kill 10 bees, but the reward of 1 powder can be exchanged for 2 HP potions.

    Choosing this method benefits players who currently stockpile powder, but battle time will be shortened, and players’ waiting time for respawn spots will decrease.
    If the timer is shortened, it may harm players who farm burning energy. Possibly, combining this with reduced energy requirements when exchanging ring boxes/scrolls would be better.

    3. Share the totem time between the LHC outer map and RG — as for whether the time limit should stay at 60 minutes or be extended to 100 minutes, the Staff team can decide.

    Choosing this method will inconvenience groups outside, but in the map, players might give up occupying spots due to potential losses (unless players have multiple level 200 characters willing to grief each other).

    wdym map is getting crowded? sir, that's solo content.

    1. why would you want to change a time-limited SOLO content into something else?

    do you realize that you will have to time it with other players? and that it'll be extremely broken if people can just sit there afk waiting for other players to gather so they can get buffs for.. killing what? the flower mob?

    2. bee rate is already low, why would you want for the time to be shortened? I've had 25+ minute runs where i got less than 20 bee's. heck, for some runs i even had less than 15 bee's (a melee player).

    you also dont kill bee's, you collect them.

    also, who stockpiles powders? it doesn't give 5m each powder anymore. there is no logical reason to stockpile on powders (besides ifia's ring box? perhaps?).

    3. why? what's the benefit of it? LHC Golems / Vultures / Bearwolves are different content than Rose Garden.

    Rose Garden is a SOLO content for high lv players, while lhc golems/vultures/bearwolves is a PARTY-FOCUSED content.

    I don't support changing something that is not particularly broken.

    I strongly suspect that this wording was because there is a bit of a language barrier here, so try to keep an open mind :)

    Then the dev team doesn’t need to make any changes to the past RG content.

    Donn9e doesn’t need to say he’ll keep abusing it until it gets fixed, as long as no changes are made.

    You have the right to question these things too — it shouldn’t just be on me.

    Player growth is accelerating, and the proportion of players staying in this level range is increasing.


    Of course, you’re free to wait until this issue becomes widespread before saying it doesn’t need to be fixed.


    My English isn’t great, and I rely heavily on GPT for assistance — that might’ve made it seem like I was suggesting entrance blocking. I wasn’t.


    When three NPC windows appear, it means the KCG channel has already been opened.


    KCG – Cecilia Rest Room – Room 1/2/3



    Exit


    Players can release the entrance after finishing KCG.

    Those inside the rest room don’t interfere with others entering.

    This gives players almost twice as much time.


    It’s still a solo stage.

    With all due respect, i don't think a single player actions / a small amount of players should affect the entire community of players who do Rose Garden.

    I don't think rose garden is perfect, and honestly I am a bit sad due the nerf of bee powders, but the alternative is doing well enough.

    So, i'm trying to figure out some of the things you said..

    "Those inside the rest room don’t interfere with others entering." - but they can party up and re-buff each other, no? this is interference, even if its only one player at a time.

    "This gives players almost twice as much time." - didn't you say that the time should be shortened? and bee amount should be lowered?

    This month, there was one SC, and I ran a test.

    A character outside the map logged in, and the timer displayed 40:00.
    A character in the bee map entered one minute later, and the timer also displayed 40:00.

    This indicates that the timers on the two maps are not the same—it’s just the player's own timer being shown.

    The KCG map and the hidden map share the same timer.
    The lounge and the inside of the tower do not activate the timer, similar to how it works there.

    As a result, players can carry their remaining time into the lounge.

    The KCG wait time is usually within 20 minutes, so the next player can enter portal.
    The bee map wait time is also within 20 minutes. If a player doesn’t want to wait, they can simply choose an empty map to enter.
    Whether or not there are other players inside should be displayed by the NPC—using the same display method as CPQ.

    If this still doesn’t make sense, I might need to call Dave for help

    It doesn't make sense to me, perhaps due to language barrier as well.

    I guess person A go in ( outside portal to enter RG is closed ); Person A finish KCG and goes to waiting room (Portal to RG opens again); Person A can chose to enter a map for bonus; Person B goes in in the same channel and finish KCG; Person B chose another bonus map as Person A still using one.

    So this way multiple people can use the same channel without having to wait 40 min for someone to leave the map;
    You can also buff outside of RG and go in so i see no problem if soemone buff for another 5 min to go for bonus room.

    Also GMS had some private dungeon for crowed maps couldnt we just make that as well?

    I see.

    Alright, now i understand what he meant.

    I still don't think its a good idea, rg is not a content that is full 20 cc out of 20 cc at all times, that you need to make MORE room.

    I think it's a small QoL that will be too much work for too little gain.
