Hi guys! Just joined the server yesterday. Was curious why the voting rules are “strict”? Wouldn’t voting help the server exposure? the household rules are kind of intense just for voting. Is it because of NX Limitations and making sure people don’t abuse the nx for like gacha or something? Sorry for the noob question. Just curious. I personally started with 3 other friends and 2 of us are in the same household. If it risks us getting banned. I’d rather not vote and get into the whitelist process. Until later down in our character leveling. We’d love to support the server and the votes. Curious how it negatively affects the server. —- On another note I did searches on the forum, and I see there’s issues with double voting? Do you we not have server sided prevention on that? IP,MAC address and account locks to prevent this? just would help and not need the pressure for the household rules? Again, I’m very new here so please excuse the dumb questions
Pretty much, NX is worth meso here (through gach or selling APRs), so it needs to be balanced to prevent people from making vote mules, and that's solved by making voting once per day. Household stuff is because until you get whitelisted, they have no way of knowing that you're two people and not just 1 person with multiple characters. ... and if I vote for a different account, using my phone, which is using mobile data all those locks are bypassed. There are some already, account lock on Royals' side and iirc IP lock on Gtop100's side
gotcha. Would I get banned if I play on my home ip, but never vote on my home IP? And allow my room mate to use the home ip, and I always vote on my phone? I’m assuming yes I’ll still need to house hold whitelist?
You and your roommate are living in the same household, and both voting daily. That is against the rules, so yes you'd get banned unless you're whitelisted.
understood! Thank you for the clarification. I’ll apply before I vote. One last question, are we allowed to have multiple accounts? example I want a bucc main, but want to level a cleric for future when I want to leech myself. Is this allowed?
